Was looking everywhere for the GABOR Argyll Boots (sold out style), and found them at MEEKS SHOES for the BEST price anywhere! Placed the order and had them shipped to CANADA at a fair shipping cost. Received within 2 weeks after placing the order. Shoes are perfect! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very satisfied with this transaction!

Toke our little girl in to the Oldham branch for school shoes today. The staff were really friendly and spent ages fitting her and finding her the right shoes. She is really happy with them and so are we. Defo be back again. Thankyou.

I would just like to say a huge thank you for making our shoe shopping trip so much easier! We came to ashton today to buy some holiday sandals for my middle daughter as she has such a narrow fitting. After we chose the ones she wanted, my eldest decided whilst she was there that she would like a pair too. She has autism and struggles in busy places and finds decisions hard to make but the lady (I think it was Vicki?) Was so patient with her and helped her find the perfect sandal- which was actually from the boys section because she's massively obsessed with the colour blue. Whilst we were there I thought it was best to get Niamh's school shoes, to avoid the back to school rush and again she was so helpful and when Niamh started to get a bit agitated (lots more people came in store) she said if we weren't happy with them we had 28 days to bring them back if just worn in the house. Will never shop anywhere else for shoes for her now, she's over the moon with her blue sandals!! Thank you so much xxx

I took a trip to Meeks to get a 2nd opinion, the style of shoe he was fitted with did not suit him atall, the manager and staff couldn't of been more helpful, absolutely brilliant customer service, I would highly reccomend Meeks! They were so patient with my two children!

I just want to say a huge thankyou for the outstanding service I received from a lady based in the Ashton store today.

Shoe shopping is very stressful for my son, but the lady who we were seen by was so patient and understanding towards him and I am so thankful for the great service and all her help this afternoon.

I didn't catch the ladies name but I'm sure she had dark blonde hair and plaits...so thankyou so very much lady! :)

Hubby saw some shoes in the Oldham store, one had been scuffed, assistant sourced another pair from Ashton shop, on the day i arranged to pick up, there was a sale on in a rival store , Meeks price matched and I saved £15, well done Meeks for being competitive.

1 year on and another pair of shoes for the hubby, full priced but oldham meeks priced matched again, saving £31 well done.

Got all my kids first shoes from here. Recently came in and my Daughter got her very first shoes fitted by the lovely Janine �

Bought a pair of fantastic ecco golf shoes at a super price online. After a few months a small factory fault occurred and I contacted Meeks to see if anything could be resolved. Their lovely staff were so very helpful and professional. Mr John Meeks (company manager) was in constant contact with me resolving an issue I thought I'd have issues with. It was a great experience and John for sure exceeded my expectations. The world would be such a better place if all businesses could value their customers the way they do. You need to experience this for yourself and support someone that would give you the after-sales support, Meeks. Thanks once again John and your staff, I'm a very happy customer indeed

All my family shop there and we would all recommend to anyone.

Never before have I experienced such appalling customer service. I purchased some Clarks sandals and left without the box but wasn't told at the time that I wouldn't be able to return the shoes without it! So upon returning the shoes with my 2.5 year old and 9 week old in tow I was sent all over Stockport and passed from pillar to post to end with a confrontation wth a very rude manageress that left me in tears. This manager tried to claim the shoes looked worn and that without a box they couldn't refund me despite me having my receipt. To be called a liar and to be put through such a stressful and upsetting experience is something I've never faced before. Having sent my complaint and photos of the unworn sandals to customer services they were just as unhelpful and accusing. Please avoid shopping at Meeks and in particular the Stockport store take your business elsewhere where you will get fair and decent treatment.

I’ve never been so shocked in all my life, I bought 2 pairs of sandals for my daughter for our holiday. We get on holiday she has them on for less than 30minutes in the room and she’s crying in pain, to find the shoes have cut her toe. She refuses to wear them, Which is fair enough I would. I went back today to exchange them as they are in perfect condition box & receipt. To be told they are a correct fit, I’m sorry if they was a correct fit they wouldn’t hurt or cut her. She point blank refused to exchange them.. she tried them on my daughters feet h and said ‘oh there fine, wear them with socks”. If I wanted her to wear sock with sandals I would have bought normal shoes. The other sandals/water shoes left a huge blister on the back of her foot and she happily refunded me. I just don’t get it? I have a pair of shoes here that are unfit for purpose, you may say they fit but their painful to wear. I contacted head office for them to say “you can have 20% of your next pair”. I just want to exchange my daughters unfit for purpose shoes. In all honestly I will not be accepting to 20% off as I’ll be cutting out the middle man and going Clark’s direct. I’ve never been so frustrated and treated like a child. It’s like buying a kettle that’s broke but you won’t exchange it because it matches with my kitchen!... shocking customer service!
