Wow, what a fantastic find, tried this for the first time this evening (takeaway) and the food and service was superb. Fantastic subtle flavours, lovely thick sauces and fluffy non greasy rice. Whole experience was excellent.

We ate here last Saturday night for the first time.

Everyone was super friendly and the food was amazing.

The Absolute Best! Awesome service from all and the best curries. The lamb shanks are a definite winner and a hidden gem of a meal.

Probably, the best Dhansak I've ever eaten in any Indian restaurant. Exceptionally tasty food, generous portions and very friendly service. It's always a pleasure to eat here or order takeaway. Highly recommended.

Mehdi is the jewel of Camberley, a hidden gem tucked away in heatherside. It's simply the best Indian restaurant around and the service is second to none. We have been quite a few times now and have never had a bad experience.

I cannot fault one thing about Mehdi, simply the most fantastic food around! The service is second to none, very welcoming, and the staff are fantastic.

10/10 every time we order. You'd have a hard time getting me to eat Indian from anywhere else.

Ok, I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants locally and feel that I have at least an idea of what's good or bad.

Well tonight we visited Mehdi as my birthday treat and I have to say what a treat it was.

On entry you see how new and clean the place is with contemporary and cosmopolitan styling, you feel relaxed already.

Shown to our table by Res, very polite and well spoken we set about our order.

Plenty on the menu to chose from ,with all the usual favourites plus others special to them, we were spoiled for choice.

Then things went a bit askew with the service as we had to wait a good 20 minutes for our order to be taken. We later found out that the restaurant had been left short staffed by one of the waiters becoming ill.

The food , when it came was absolutely lovely. Not too hot or too spicy, Goldilocks would have been well happy.

With complimentary drinks, chocolate and orange given to us after the meal, we came away thinking what a great time we had had and what a lovely place it was.

We shall surely be visiting Mehdi very soon in the future to enjoy their delights once again.

Good meal, fresh ingredients and assured by Raz afterwards that no food colouring is added to their dishes.

Service was a little haphazard which with only 6 people dining was disappointing. Raz corrected the mistake with the food order but the other waiter had to be asked a couple of times for drinks/glasses.

Actually tastes better and hotter when you eat in and top service! One of the great curry houses in the area. Well done for bringing Heatherside to life again. The 'Ferguson's' love it ;-)

went on a busy Saturday night service was very slow while people ordering take away got served faster we waited over a hour for food and by way of an aplogy only 1 of our party of 4 was given a free drink ! other tables were also complaining about the long delays , won't bother again on a weekend !
