We believe that nature gave us everything we can possibly need. We show our respect by using the freshest of local ingredients, showcasing nature at its best.
Aviv Baum began his culinary journey at the young age of 13. From the first day he stepped inside the kitchen he knew this was the world he had to discover. Years have passed on learning various cuisines, working in the best restaurants in Tel Aviv. But the passion and desire for the food of his childhood was burning, ready to burst, ready to make people feel the excitement and love of simple and fresh soul food.

What a lovely experience. Excellent Hummus, w/without mushrooms. Arais, delicious. Mains were Sabih, Schnitzel, grilled fish and Lamb skewers. All delicious. The dessert was a lovely coconut Malabee.

I do not like vegetables, but the dish I tried was so well done I did not even care about them being in the meal. The meat was absolutely mind-blowing.
And the waiter was very helpful and pleasant.

Today, I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Melabes. The food was outstanding and I love the way Chef Aviv kept the delicious origins of the Israeli/Mediterranean food but put a modern twist on an already great menu. You can see that the owner, Chef Aviv has spent much time developing his ideas and recipes.

Such delicious Mediterranean food and friendly vibes at Melabes! The Sabih wrap was bursting with fresh vegetables and it was very reasonably priced at under £7, I would recommend the fresh juices too. I can't wait to return and try out more of the menu. A great place to sit and relax, loads of seating and well located on Kensington High Street.

Really amazing and delicious Mediterranean food. All the stuff are super friendly.
I recommend the Royal Gyros and Kebab, but everything else is also super delicious.
Melabes is my go-to lunch spot when I don't bring lunch for work, and it's such a welcome addition to the High Street. Everything I've tried here has been delicious (all of the Pitas and all of the sides are great--with the Sabih and Falafel as my absolute faves), and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Love this place!
I was with a friend and we were starving when we found this nice place . We got curios about the menu so we entered the restaurant for having dinner: although it was nearly closing time a friendly waiter warmly welcomed us. He seated us on the upper floor furnished in a rustic but cozy style and he offered us some tasty appetizers while we were waiting for our ordered meal. The service was very quick and brilliant and we could enjoy our Hummus, Mediterranean Chicken and Roast sweet potatoes almost immediately: the food was really delicious and the bill truly economic.
I had never tried this type of kitchen before but I'm so satisfied that I'll surely come here again.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly service and reasonable prices on Kensington High Street (which is full of chains lacking any soul). The banana & toffee pita for desert is wonderful. Relaxed, cosy and easy place to just spend time with friends. I’ll be back.
