Mellow Farm Adventure

Muddy when wet. Nice walk from nearby up hill to good views. Shower facilities primitive. This is not a modern campsite. More a throwback to 1950's

Great get away from the city and not too far to drive. Set in some lovely countryside, nice little escape.

Lovely site which is easy to get to. Quaint pitches near the river, with easy access to walking. It's also conveniently close to a couple of towns, but not too close. You can buy fresh eggs, sausages and other farm goods from the farmhouse too which is great

Great weekend spent lazing on the farm. The owners are friendly and helpful and clearly care about the enjoyment of their guests. They offer wood and fire pits at a reasonable price, the scenery is idyllic countryside and the activities on offer are brilliant. They include swimming or canoeing in the river, wandering around the farm checking out all the animals and cooking up some fresh bacon and eggs from the farm shop. Can't wait to go back!

Edit:- Forgot to mention the all important toilets and showers. Very clean and tidy well stocked and good washing up facilities. The showers do cost £1 (new) so bring a couple with you.

Good camping field and children's play area. Toilets and showers let it down a bit.

Very pretty area and meadows, but the facilities were not enough for the amount of campers. Two showers for 3 fields, of which both failed to work on my first morning so I lost £2.
Numerous mornings I had to walk down to the portaloos in another field as of the queue.
We seemed to be put in a field with number very large groups, one of which had teenagers that were walking around spitting and playing a boombox late at night.
First night I had to get up and ask people to turn their music down. First campsite I have ever had to do this.
Mellow farm ? No, just no care farm.
2 stars, and this is for the prettiness of the area. That is all. We wont be coming back. Shame.

Super campsite near Farnham. Beautiful location. Good facilities.

A perfect campsite! So friendly, quiet with amazing views. Perfect for a romantic/ chill out break!
