We're you ever welcomed into womanhood?
Did those you love listen to your needs and mark that rite of passage with love, support and care?
Did they help you navigate what it was to step into 'woman' and 'adult'?
... Did you have people around you to catch you when you wobbled? To ask your questions about your body, love and life to?
I didn't. Many of us didn't.
Many us of were thrown into our perceived womanhood with just a packet of menstrual pads or tampons and a sense of hush and secrecy.
No-one to speak to.
No-one to share our worries with.
No-one to celebrate this rite of passage.
Wouldn't it be beautiful if you were celebrated in the way that suited you?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have those you truly cared about and those you knew that loved you around you to help you take those first steps?
The image above is just that. We are tending to Diane in the way she wanted. Face and head massage, hand massage and painted nails, behind the camera some are making her a piece of jewellery and others are making her a crown. Music is playing, people are chatting. This is a relaxed honouring of Diane and her 14 year old self, who came to her perceived 'womanhood' with much less support.
There is always time to return to aspects of your past and replay them in the way you wanted them to go.
There is always time to honour your inner child and receive the love and care she didn't receive.
It is deeply healing and deeply needed.

Did you know there are deer in Greenwich park?!
Today I'm waiting for my bleed. So after my amazing coaching session (always so powerful at this time of the month with many tears and ah-ha moments) I took myself and a cake to Greenwich park.
I watched the deer, the foxes, the squirrels and birds. I marvelled at the trees and the pure colours and I connected to the earth.
... It filled my heart and soul.

We are on our third season and have loved every sessions so far.
This group asks for a commitment to at least 4 of the 6 sessions before we close that season and open up the space again.
It is £11 per session, so fees are £44, £55 or £66 paid upfront to cement that commitment to the circle.
Taking place in Balham SW17, it is 5 mins walk from northern line and national rail and has off road parking.

Thank you Laura Swann for posting this.
There has been something niggling inside me for a while now about the clinical nature of the discussion of the women's body, the disconnect from the real and the 'flowering up' or 'absolute disgust' of the natural processes of the female body.
I feel like I am drawn to set some balls rolling to delve a bit deeper into the visceral nature of blood, wombs, periods, vulvas, vaginas, clitoris's and more.
... Im about ready to bleed, Im spotting in fact, and will take this time to 'bleed on' these feelings and bring some plans into place.
Ill let you know where Im going with this once it lets itself be known to me but at the moment my mind is thinking about a closed circle of women who explore their bleeds or explore their bodies in a more radical way. Im really pulled to take off the 'fluffy' and explore the reality.

The Hopi ear candle, reiki and sinus massage I had last week was fantastic. I had been suffering for a few weeks and since my treatments ears and sinus have been clear. I cannot believe how much better I feel from one session. I would definitely recommend Mel and these treatments. Mel was professional, and caring. She completely put me at ease and walked me through the treatment. Thank you again Mel.
