Went today for the first time and had the cheese and bean toasted it was delicious and the jalapeño mayo was to die for! Not to mention the very friendly and attentive owner- will be back!

Went here the other day after reading about it in the chronicle. Took the dogs and had amazing service and food! Lovely little stop off after walking the dogs along the river. Great concept and brilliant food! I'll be back soon. �

Tried this place this morning with my very demanding Pom pup Madge and we loved it. Madge was fussed over, and lapped up the attention. Was able to fire up my laptop to finish a report,whilst enjoying a great coffee and a meltdown toastie. Yum yum. Will be back very soon

Took my 9 year old to meltdown Wednesday had a lush cheese and chillie jam toastie and she had. Classic cheese and ham meltdown sandwich lovely warm welcome there staff lovely will definitely be going back 🧀🐭💋

The best toasties ever.... I had a raclette yesterday, it tasted authentic and delicious. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves cheese! Well worth a visit!

Popped in today and really enjoyed my toastie. Place looks great and I cant wait for the secure garden at back to be opened, will be great to sit out there with the dog after a walk. Wonderful its dog friendly. Hope it goes well for the new owners

Perfectly located for a meadows walk with dog and nibble after. Absolutely delicious coffee and super tasty grilled cheese butties. Will be returning to give the mac n cheese a go. ��

Our 2nd visit in 2 weeks! We had lunch in the lovely suntrap yard today which made it even more enjoyable. The macaroni cheese toastie with chilli jam was a triumph :) We love the relaxed atmosphere and it's great that we can take the dog too. Meltdown is definitely going to be a regular lunch venue for us!

One of the best (if not the best) cafes I have ever been to. For starters it has a warm, welcoming and communal feel, it's animal friendly, the staff know the menu inside out, amazing coffee and they serve alcohol! (So tempted to try the tequila hot chocolate if only I wasn't driving). The owner is adorable and has customer service PERFECTED. Then the menu - cheese toasties, every which way you could imagine and with amazing combination of flavours and options. Genius. This place really is a hidden gem and I would be there every day if I lived closer!

Mrs Meltdown, is a wonderful host and truly is the Queen of the toasty. Would definitely recommend.

Laura is incredible, the food is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible.



Meltdown really has brought the community closer together, it’s such a perfect place for a chill out or a get together with your friends.

It's got caffeine and calcium. Super tasty menu of treats designed specifically to tell your brain that you deserve to feel better about everything ever. I have witnessed miraculous transformations, epiphanys and revelations mid melty. Go there. Go. Go on. You can eat lettuce all week if you want but you deserve cheese and you know it.

Awesome flat white, great sandwiches (2 adults and 2 mini melts) all round! Sat in the chilled garden at the back is a right little sun spot, staff are lovely

Amazing toastie! All the cheese! Unreal! This place is perfect if you you are hungover, it didnt dissapoint one bit! The nutella and mascarpone toastie was so good it should be illegal! Great music and atmosphere and the service was spot on! Loved It! ���
