You can never go wrong with a Classic Tandoori Chicken! Especially when it's made the Mem-Saab way!
Tandoor-roasted chicken breasts on the bone, marinated with garlic, kashmiri chilli, fresh hung yoghurt and root ginger. Served with a fresh salad, rice and curry sauce 😋

perfect 2 course lunch. Service was excellent. All the food was extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. Didn't feel rushed at all. Timing between the courses was perfect. I had the veg samosa's to start and the muttar paneer curry for my main which came with rice. It was very filling. I would definitely recommend and will certainly be visiting again.

We went to Mem-Saab in Leicester Sunday 13.11.16 for lunch service was very good, cocktails fabulous, food presentation very good on starters and main courses which were very tasty indeed, all three of us had a fab meal...

We travelled to Leicester specifically to dine at this restaurant because we had been told how excellent the food was. I have to say it exceeded our expectations. Firstly as it was our first visit a member of staff took the time to recommend dishes for us that he thought we would like, fully explained the dish and found out exactly how we would like it. When the food arrived it was absolutely delicious. Best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for service and food quality. Thanks for a lovely meal!

We booked the chef's table for 9 of us to celebrate a birthday and loved it. The food was delicious and great value, the staff very attentive and we had a magician come round for entertainment. I was even allowed to help make some naan bread. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Very nice staff and very nice food, even sang happy birthday to me and made a cake, had a laugh thanks we will be back.

The best Indian restaurant in my life!!

I've tried few in Thailand, my country, and few here in Leicester but none of them taste this good. The food here tasted really good. I'm not sure whether it's a combination food but I did enjoy it. I had 4 dishes (2 courses), I don't know their names or remember what they were. I always (try to, if I eat smelly lamb) enjoy eating eat lamb, and I ate lamb sticks which were no bad smell at all. It's one of the two places that serve such fine-prepared lamb (the other one was Harrods Plantation, Thailand)

Services are beyond those 4-5 star hotels.

The place was clean, I really like that hosts (server) use utensils for picking food and clean clothes to present us warmed dishes.

I felt special like I had never experienced before in the other Indian restaurants.



Wine selections are a bit expensive, but it's quite reasonable for such a very nice place. I'm going to bring a special one with me next month.



Please come and try, it's really worth your money and time.

Thank you very much for ending my birthday on a happy note! The food was amazing and the waiters were very attentive to our needs. quality of food is the best! The waiter overheard our conversation..... and to my surprise brought out a birthday cake with a candle! Even my 2 young fussy eaters enjoyed the food! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!!!

It is a lovely Restaurant well situated....food selection is wide and varied...Beers, Cocktails, Mocktail and wine list is selected to satisfy majority... Staff are well trained and food served is excellent...Whether it is an occasion or just to satisfy thirst and hunger... It is excellent place...!

I went here the other night for a works night out and the food and the service was amazing.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and champagne bar to all my friends and family.

Food was delicious, drove all the way from Manchester to try the food, must say very impressed.

First time here the other week and I couldn’t fault the food at all. I put my trust in waiter to decide main dish for me after telling him my normal tastes. Can’t remember what it was but it was a Lamb dish, amazing. Best peshwari Nan ever tasted . Staff friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere, with a pianist playing (it was Valentine’s Day)

It wasn’t cheap!! But I always say you get what you pay for and I will definitely return!

The food is excellent - service not so good! We booked a table for the fast track lunch yesterday and had to wait 15 mins for the table then another ten to order! Drinks took ages and the wait between courses seemed long! Great value though and we would definitely return as we love it here!

I was there yesterday 10/7/2017 and the food was spot on tasted perfect and the chicken was cooked really well,Chips were nice plus the naan was spot on. The downside.... Staff seemed grumpy and "just doing there job" no real care. Also when it came to the bill they'd added there 10% tip on without asking I don't mind paying a tip especially for nice food but they were not very happy seemed like they couldn't be arsed so for me to tip them they was very lucky. Will find a new place to eat next time.

Good ambience and good food but catered more for the British market as oppose to the Asian market. Good slightly on the bland side mission the true Indian flavours of traditional dishes.



Not exactly and fine do fine experience but better than the average restaurant. Staff need to learn to speak English in this cut throat industry and take orders properly, dress properly and tuck your shirts in for the amount your charging.



Overall a good experience but good is not authentic enough. Spice, blend, and presentation need a little more work on. Nice environment.

Food was ok, had better in a lot cheaper restaurants. End bill was ridiculously expensive for 2 people. Portion sizes were ok. Overall it was good the place is nice and clean and in a great location but I can't help feeling this is why the prices are so high. It definitely isn't reflected in food quality

Hmmm - so disappointed. cocktails were great and bar staff friendly, meals were awful, bland, not spiced as per menu. portions small and presentation was not in keeping with fine dining label! 10% service charge was both cheeky and undeserved. when we were asked we gave honest feeback, and the waiter just said we have chosen the wrong dishes even though a couple of us had the tikka masala - worst one we have ever tasted!! we know what one should taste like and this came nowhere near. would not return - expensive at £90 per couple - feel totally robbed.

Food was amazing but we were sat next to a very rowdy table so we had to shout to talk to each other. Waiters were reluctant to tell the other table to quieten down - hardly fine dining. Was much better when they left!

Booked a table for 6pm. Arrived 15 mins early. Nobody at desk or bar even though customers were already in there drinking. At about 5:55pm was told there would be a half hour wait before they served food! Wasn't impressed by food. Found it bland and uninspiring. Tables too close together so we had to endure the complaining family to the right and a male on my left who chose a meal so spicy he had a very runny rose and sat there sniffing throughout his meal. When he wasn't doing that it felt like he was watching us eat. Slow to clear our table of starter plates. Finally, they add themselves a 10% tip without asking to the bill. The venue itself was lovely. Would I go again? NO!

Unbelievably gobsmacked- this has got to be the worst food we have ever eaten. Price wasn't an issue until the realisation set in as to what we had paid for- big lumps of unseasoned food. We have renamed it 'Grim-Saab' ���
