Help! Looking for any old, unwanted sofas for our youth camp. Leather is perfect as they are easier to keep clean but any sofa/comfy seat donations really appreciated!

my partner and ten year old got to try a few sports that they wouldn't of normally, they were well looked after and enjoyed the weekend taster trials for kayaking and skiing. So a great way to get people to try before you commit. �

We recently held a Scout camp in Churchill which meant over 350 young people took part in activities at Mendip Snowsports Centre over the weekend. Garry and his team couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and all the instructors and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and really engaged with the young people giving encouragement and support where needed. Thank you everyone!

We have just returned home from your Twilight tobogganing session which i booked as a fun festive treat for my daughter (who turned 8 today!) and her cousin. We loved every minute of it as did the kids and the lovely warming Berry punch and mince pie thrown in were just wonderful and perfect for warming our chilly bodies up! Great staff, welcoming and friendly; we will definitely return! Can't believe it's taken us this long to discover this gem! Thanks �

What a total bargain and the kids loved it!

Booking in was quick, easy and the staff were lovely! Our session was fully booked but it didn't seem overcrowded or too busy! Nice little seating area to watch with a tea or coffee! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!

Took the kids up there from Weston today for a spot of frisby golf, the course is fantastic and had everybody puffed out which is great!



Absolutely gorgeous day with amazing views. Course is varied and we all had a great time, different terrains and each "hole" different and a nice challenge.



The staff were super friendly and helpful too, smiley welcoming faces and keen to show you where you need to go. Will definitely recommend to friends and family �

Took my son and step son tobogganing here this afternoon and we had an amazing time. We rang ahead as we were going to be late due to the motorway being at a standstill. The staff were great and told us not to panic, we could start later than planned. Unique place in a superb setting. We loved it so much we stayed for dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and good value. We will definitely be going back

Took grandson and his friends for birthday treat first time any of them skiing and they had a ball.

My kids wanted to learn to ski before a holiday, excellent courses and great instructors made it fun while learning the basics and lots more.

Would recommend it for anybody wanting to ski, great place and setting with good facilities and lots more to do other than just sking etc.

I took my daughter and her friend here last night for a try ski session. They loved it. I thought the staff, set up and atmosphere was brilliant, not too bust or pricey. Thet are really looking forward to their next session. Thanks

I took my 6yr old daughter and two friends tabogganing yeaterday as a birthday treat. Safe to say they absolutley loved it! Staff were really friendly and allowed us to pre-order food in the cafe so we didnt have a long wait after tabogganing had finished. We will definitely be back!

I recently started a "Learn to snowboard" package with Georgie and Mike which has proved invaluable starting over. I am able to board on snow but I had picked up some bad habits and had lost my confidence so this opportunity revisited the main principles and taught me so much. I like how each lesson as you progress you revisit the skills learnt in the previous lesson and then bolt on a few more. I was able to get as far as Lesson 3 before coming to Canada and was able with their teaching to confidentially transverse down a slope on both toe and heel edge, throw in some garlands and turns AND teach my Father (68) to board. Thank you. Invaluable teaching and highly recommended!

I arranged a group lesson for my dads birthday. There were 8 in the group, majority have been skiing before and knew why they were doing, my daughter and boyfriend however have not been before. I don't know the name of the man that led their class today but he was amazing. Fantastic with my daughter (aged 8) and couldn't do enough. Thank you, we will be back

Had the best day here today for my birthday (organised by some wonderful friends). The reception staff were really helpful and Tom our instructor was awesome and we are already planning our return! Thank you!

Came here for a birthday party yesterday, kids loved it and had so much fun, can't stop talking about it, will definitely be coming back for another visit soon, will highly recommend to anyone with young children, staff are very helpful and friendly.

My son went tobogganing and loved it! The staff were friendly and patient with him as he was nervous to start. After some instruction there was no stopping him! My husband had a ski lesson and said it was great for true beginners. Next time I think we will look to include another activity such as archery. Cafe was very good, I can recommend the hot chocolate!

My 4yr old had his birthday party here (tobogganing) and he and his friends loved it. Mop the Yeti made a special appearance too which was fab and made it a birthday to remember. The staff were great, everything went to plan and we had the party room after with food. Certainly recommend this activity/venue, a big thumbs up

Can't comment on the snowsports, we were only at the Alpine cafe. Nice people, 'different' cafe, great views + welcome my companion. Menu is simple but appropriate.

Our only issue is the stairs, at the moment Lola cant cope with them & she is at my carrying limit. I will be glad when she is fit enough to climb stairs again! Not good for push-chairs or wheelchairs either, though staff will help if asked.
