First time calling the AA team, Thank you Dave for your fantastic service. your level headed calming attitude made the whole experience much more manageable. Considering it was your first day nothing was too much trouble. You made sure we were warm, safe and comfortable. We are very greatfull Big up Dave.

It was late on a friday afternoon when our Autosleeper broke down on a campsite in Pickering, just as we were about to leave to travel the long distance back to North west Cumbria. Mennell Motors came to the rescue. We were recovered back to their garage in Malton. They kindly gave us a courtesy car for the drive back. Unfortunately, the van was not a straightforward fix, this didn't phase them however, even when due to the vehicle age (1999) parts were difficult to obtain. They kept us informed at all times and we're polite, professional and unusual for garages these days, we felt trustworthy too, keeping the costs to a minimum as much as possible. Very helpful and trustworthy

My caravan tyre blew on the A64 heading for Scarborough. Both my spare wheel and Jack were useless. I called out emergency breakdown and a young lady called Jasmine arrived. She was friendly, professional and cheerful and clearly loves her job. As soon as they discovered the issues she called for another truck. Simon came out and while Jasmine took my tyre away to get fixed Simon put my caravan on his motor. Back at their base they fixed up my van as best as they could to get me back mobile. All in they went above and beyond their normal duties and to top it off the breakdown recovery was covered by insurance but I was dreading the final price for the rest. It was way under what I thought it was going to be. Well done and thank youbJasmine and Simon

I would like to thank the guys at mennell motors for helping us after a wheel came off our caravan. I had contacted 4 garages beforehand who did not want to know so thanks again for your professional help and assistance as we were back on the road within 30 minutes from arriving and away

I would score 0 stars if it was possible. I think the people who work for this company need to read the highway code. The driver was talking on his mobile phone while driving and then drove at speed while towing a trailor with a van with a car he had picked up. What a c##k
