What I got up to yesterday 🤩🤩🤩

User

On Thursday I made the announcement that I was starting to blog from next week.
Yesterday I committed to publish a book in 2019. Another of my biggest dreams with doing TV work.
Lots of planning and writing, but as anything with a good plan, it is possible.
... So excited about 2019 already!

If you wonder what kind of results you can expect within 2 weeks of starting with me, here is is.
This includes a 3.4kg weight loss too.
Results vary from person to person, but the tendency always remain: better eating habits, more energy, less cravings, better tolerance to stress, and last but not least a smaller number on the scale!

This cup is my partner in crime when it comes to coffee☕️. It is a big one, because when I bought it a long time ago I didn’t know about smaller sizes. I liked it straight away because it is blue aka my favourite colour 💙💙💙. • The funny thing is that I only have a #smallblackcoffee: my thumb marks the limit of what I have, and I don’t even finish it most days. • After 30 days off coffee I expected to go straight to coffee on Saturday, you know, to #celebrate. But I didn’t. I... had a day training with #freecoffee, but I knew the coffee wasn’t worth breaking the #peacefulness brought by #nocoffee. • Yesterday again, I could have bought a #goodcoffee, and decided not to, because I had a #bigtodolist and wouldn’t enjoy it. • But today, it felt right. So I went to @waitroseandpartners with my @ecoffeecup to have my usual #blackcoffee or #americano - #justcoffee, #noextrawater. • The smell is #unbelievable! • After a sip, I can feel something going on in my head, but also in the stomach - that tells me that coffee is probably not so good for my health after all! •••

What a fantastic day at the Inflamm-Nation seminar arranged by @biocareltd and presented by the amazing @alessandro15. • #Inflammation is not necessarily a bad thing. • There are two types of inflammation, acute and chronic. It’s the chronic inflammation that is the main issue.... • Best way to finish my CPDs for 2018 ••• #nutritionaltherapy #chronicinflammation #acuteinflammation #musclerepair #chronicfatigue #atpenergy #electrons

Day 30: Chai Mix Milk • Did it! I almost did 30 days without coffee. • Almost because I had one coffee in November to stay awake at a training because the little monster decided to join us in the middle of the night and I couldn’t sleep well afterwards. ... • Some would consider it a failure. I consider it a success, as it was about breaking a habit. • Drinking one coffee a day is not a bad habit, but not considering other options makes it not such a good habit. • I realised that yes, coffee gives me a genuine kick and boost, but I could also do really well without coffee. What I didn’t get in intensity, I gain back on the duration. • [in the picture: one of my favourite mug, the one I bought to celebrate running the Paris marathon in 2014]

Day 29: Turmeric Milk • This may look like coffee but it isn’t. This is frothy milk with turmeric mix spice. Simply tasty 😋 • I am counting the days now. I do want my cup of coffee ☕️. Not sure why. I have changed my habit. I don’t miss the taste but I do miss the smell.... • I feel much calmer since I stopped coffee. No burst of inspiration. Just constant focus.

Day 26-28: Hot Chocolate • Hot chocolate seems to be my favourite drink of the moment. • I’m using a good quality almond milk ie just water, almonds and a pitch of salt - because if you are not careful you can end up with a lot more ingredients which shouldn’t be there.... • And my favourite Lucy Bee cocoa powder, that has no other ingredients that cocoa 🍫 , and is deliciously sweet enough. • As I am nearing to my 30 days of not having coffee, I can’t help but feel proud of myself. I gave in once, and I don’t regret it: I needed this cup for the day event. • Coffee has only been in my life for the last two years, but just like any habit, it is hard to change. Hard but not impossible! • [in the picture: my bubbly hot chocolate of the day in a half full cup because I am running out of almond milk 🙈]

Hey everyone!
I ran this free webinar two weeks ago and was asked by a few people who found out too late to run it again, so here it it :)
⛄️ The festive season is starting soon, and there are fewer things most people dislike more than adding a few pounds over the festive season. ⛄️
... 💫 There is never a better time than starting today. 💫
Imagine waking up on 1 January feeling GREAT, SLIM, and in CONTROL 💃 instead of SLUGGISH, REGRETFUL and FAT 😧
We all know how December is all about celebrating with rich foods and what seems to be unlimited drinks, but do you really believe you have to indulge in every opportunity?!
Let me tell you a true story. 📖 Are you sitting comfortably?
Last year in December, I only had one client sign up to my weight loss programme. All my other enquiries wanted to wait for the new year to start looking after themselves. But this one didn’t. She knew there was never going to be a better time because her career involves a lot of client entertainment, so December was pretty much like every other month for her.
🔥 She smashed it! 🔥
Not only did she start LOSING weight in December, but also she didn’t put on weight between Christmas and New Year 💃💪🔥
This was not a miracle.
This is what happens when you listen to your body and apply a few easy tricks.
Nobody wants to feel deprived, or miserable on a diet at this time of a year, but at the same time, how do you really feel once the show is over? 😱
January is all about new resolutions, but deep down we all know they won’t last because we don’t know where to start. And what was meant to be just a few temporary pounds tend to become permanent and accumulate with the years. 😩
I have a solution! Register for my webinar on Tuesday 4th December at 8pm and learn
🔥 My Top 5 Secrets for Staying Healthy+Fabulous this Festive Season 🔥
I’ll also be answering your specific questions so that you are no longer stuck.
You'll come away with ideas and a plan to keep you body vibrant and healthy whilst enjoying the festivities!
Register below: http://bit.ly/2DK0FkJ
See you soon xx
PS: if you already have plans for that evening, you can still sign up as I will email the recording within 24 hours

Day 23-25 •• Day 23 & 24: had just water 💧💧💧- didn’t feel like anything else • This morning I really felt like having coffee ☕️. Very first time in the last 25 days that I wanted coffee for the taste, not just for the habit of having coffee (like in the first few days), or the stimulant kick (the only time I gave in).... • I realised it was probably due to the fact that I had alcohol last night - something that is unusual for me - and my body expect something different this morning. • I also didn’t sleep well 💤 in quality (again due to alcohol 🍷), which could also explain this craving. • So I went for warm water 💧 and a few drips of fresh lemon 🍋 to the rescue. It helps a bit with detox, not that I had huge amount of alcohol, but because I so rarely drink alcohol that it had a big impact. • [in the picture: my empty cup because I forgot to take the picture 📸 when it was full 🙈]

Day 22: Mini Hot Chocolate • My theory of an ‘early’ morning brisk walk linked to not fancying a hot drink seems to confirm for the last few days. • Only had a mini hot chocolate today because I forgot to buy milk! 🙈 still delicious though 😉... • What’s your hot drink of the day?

Day 21: Hot Chocolate 🍫 • It’s getting really cold and today I’m super hungry. Weather, personal hormonal variations, intermittent fasting? Not sure the reason, and it doesn’t really matter to be honest, but it felt like having a tasty hot drink. • So I went to my trusted hot chocolate with my favourite 100% cocoa powder with not sweetener. I added a bit of cinnamon today, just because I felt like it.... • What’s your hot drink of the day? • [In the picture is a gift from my previous coach: we often joked about how the French 🇫🇷 always want to be right! He really gets our sense of humour 😍]

Day 20: Turmeric Latte ✨ As you’ve noticed by now, I’m a great fan of @lucybeecoconut mixes. Today the bright yellow colour - ok, not so bright on the picture - is an indication of turmeric. ✨ Turmeric is a great spice that helps with inflammation and immunity. Perfect for the season, isn’t it? 💪... ✨ I’m having a turmeric latte mix. Beautiful blend of #turmeric #cardamon #ginger #nutmeg and #blackpepper. All #organic and #nonasties. Sweet enough to just have with you favourite milk, but a teaspoon of honey 🍯 could have been an option ✨

Day 17-19 ✨ I finally found out why having a glass of water was sufficient until now: simply because it hasn’t been that cold in the morning, but also because I started this new rule of standing up & walking a bit every 30 minutes if I am not in meeting. ✨ Today, on the other hand I really felt the cold, and as I didn’t sleep that much I felt like a hot chocolate, so I indulged in my favourite @pleins drinks almond milk and @Lucy’s eecoconut cocoa powder with a hint of @lucy...beecoconut chai mix 💥 delicious! ✨ Happy Monday! Happy Week!

She provided me with a lot of interesting information about nutrition and checked very thoroughly my health history before starting the programme. She also provided me with tasty recipes that are easy to prepare. I started by making small changes to my diet step by step following Severine's advice and feel much better and more energised. A huge thank you to Severine - highly recommendable!

Severine helped me turn my life around. She spent a long time with me to understand my eating habits and explain where I was going wrong, and she taught me how to fit healthier habits into my lifestyle.
