me and my sister had a great stay at the mercury , the owners are lovely the staff are all very friendly and helpful , rooms are clean have tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer ,there was a wee problem with a smell of damp but the owners are on top of this but if you are looking for cheap cheerful friendly and welcoming and a good cooked breakfast then the mercury is for you oh and there is also a bar and entertainment on certain days

Stranded at work and needed a room for the night, very helpful very friendly owners and staff. Few beers and enjoyed the quiz that is very well put together.
I hope to get stranded at work again and re visit or at least praise the friendly people I met there.

My son and daughter in-law had their wedding reception here. It was all arranged at short notice and they did them proud. The food was of good quality and plentiful. In fact alot better standard than other more popular venues in the area. A big well done and thank you to all the staff at the Mercury who played a part in making our special occasion so wonderful.
Managed and run beautifully by the Heywood's. Such a great place to stay and be entertained by fab acts if you are fortunate enough to be staying when there's one on.

Stayed here for football.great little motel and bar made to feel welcome through out my stay and a good turn on the night cheers
Had a good time watching the comedy show compered by Kenny Mills. We were made very welcome by the locals .
First impressions of motel wasnt good.however i was aware of this..bathroom was horrendous.tho the staff were fab..and I absolutely loved the entertainment in the evening..so on the plus side you dont get this from Premier Inn etc...if travelling for footy again..i would stay here..it was an experience..albeit actually an entertaining one
We live behind the hotel and they are supposed to turn the music off at 12 but tonight it was still playing and we canβt get to sleep because of it I know this is a little petty but please turn your music down!
