We had our wedding here on Saturday, it was perfect from start to finish. The whole day ran so smoothly and the lead up to it was made so easy and stress free by the amazing team. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went above and beyond to look after us and our guests.

The grounds are stunning, the food was delicious and the hotel itself was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding.

We wish we could do it all again and again, we can't thank you enough for making our day absolutely perfect!

We had our wedding at Mere Court which was just the perfect venue. The hotel and grounds were just what we wanted from a venue. The whole experience was wonderful in particular I wanted to thank James for being absolutely amazing on the day nothing was to much trouble,also Billy on the bar was ace. Fantastic staff, beautiful rooms, delicious food which everyone commented on. Just a perfect day will certainly be back for an anniversary stay

We had afternoon tea for my birthday with my fiancé and our one year old son it was lovely the food was amazing and we decided to have lunch here for my birthday as we are getting married here next year I cannot wait ❤️

Visited with threefriends for afternoon tea. Were able to sit outside in glorious sundhine...perfect setting, garden and grounds impeccable. Afternoon tea was delicious, scones amongst best had anywhere. Nothing too much trouble for staff, including moving a rather heavy paradol and base to give us more shade than the one we already had. Loved the decor in the bar area.

Stayed here after being caught out by a late landing flight and an impassable motorway. Despite calling for a reservation at a late hour, the staff were nothing but welcoming and helpful throughout. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a good quality breakfast. I won't hesitate to book here again whether I'm travelling for work or leisure.

Just had our wedding at Mere Court, we had an amazing time, the staff were brilliant and made the day go really smoothly taking all the stress away!! Beautiful location making great pics and food was fabulous!! They did exactly as we wanted and now I wish we could do it all again!!!

Just had my daughter's wedding at the hotel. Lovely venue and great service from all staff. Particular thanks go to Lyndsey in the build up to the day - and James (Operations Manager) on the day itself. Lovely food both for the wedding and at the buffet breakfast on the following morning.

I had the pleasure of being at a wedding here on Friday, as a guest and also photographer.

James was amazing help and nothing was too much trouble for him to organise. He ran the wedding like clockwork with no stresses

The venue is beautiful for taking photos with lots of different areas that can be used (And bearing in mind this was a cold spring day in the summer it would be even better!)

The room arrangements beautiful

The food was delicious and served promptly and efficiently

The bedroom was comfortable, clean and well presented

I can not praise the staff enough today I brought my mum my partners Mum and my aunty here was amazing afternoon tea and the staff were wonderful. I have a serious nut allergy but totally forget to say before but the staff were great in ensuring I was well catered for I really appreciate it thank you we will return and recommend this to others thank you for a lovely day !!

Booked this hotel through holiday extras as a hotel with Airport parking.Bloody hell couldn't believe the room. Presidential suite.Its a shame that we are leaving at 3.30am to the airport..Lovely place will be back.

We stayed here to celebrate my daughters 10th Birthday (her request),the family room was a lovely size. Evening meal very tasty and made special by he balloons organised on the table. All staff we polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We booked the Executive room, which was quite big.

Had a lovely stay, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Only downside was my partner ordered hits cheese starter which was cold, also the main meals were quite limited. Maybe chicken could be an option as she didn’t like lamb, beef, salmon or risotto.

I had prawn starter which was lovely but overpriced at £8.50! 4 breaded prawns with sweet chilli sauce. The lamb was lovely but small portions for the price.

We had drinks in the bar, which again I found over priced £12.50 for vodka/Diet Coke & raspberry vodka with tonic.

All in all it was a nice break and I think the place in nice weather with the little lake would be lovely.

We stayed here last night, although the hotel was clean and staff were pleasant enough, but they didn't think to check if things were ok, if there was anything else we needed and service was slow. Bar over priced £17 for a vodka lime and lemonade, pint of lager and two bags of crisps. We booked a family room which despite description on website and room brochure had no TV. The room was dimly lit and the water in the bath was luke warm (no cold water added). The matress on the single bed was sagging, but luckily we didn't need to use it. Definitely not worthy of 4* AA rating, I've stayed in nicer 3* hotels.

The location is lovely and the hotel grounds are beautifully kept. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I had the Windsor suite and there was a problem with the door where it would not unlock and I couldn’t enter the room.



The shower curtain was mouldy and a panel of glass in one of the windows was cracked.



For what they charge for rooms these issues shouldn’t exist.

Hotel set in a nice place,staff friendly and polite had afternoon tea,the sandwiches and cakes were lovely,was disappointed with the room we ate in was cold and needed an update, food on the floor also tea was served in metal tea pot with normal white cups and saucers,should be fine bone China!

Food and choice was really good but I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. Looked very shabby, windows where we had breakfast were dirty , carpet strip coming up and to top it all, the milk on the breakfast table was thick and smelly.

This hotel is a throw back to the 1980’s the decor is awful. The location is stunning however and the staff were nice. That’s about it!

There was a light bulb missing in my room that I reported at 3:30 pm, I had to report it again as it was it replaced. Finally a nice lady came at 10:30 with the bulb but it was the sting one. She eventually cane back with the correct one but the cowling was broken and it could not be replaced. As it was dark day and the light was by the closet I could not see to unpack so eventually at 11pm I was given a different room. After a 6 hour drive diwn from London I was not expecting to be changing rooms at 11 pm.

Breakfast vehicle was included was also disappointing. The eggs are rubbery and the sausages leathery. Great staff but whoever owns this hotel needs to lay done attractive to it. The bathrooms are totally antiquated and the electrical fittings are shoddy. The sink still has the WW II taps I’ve hot one cold and no mixer. The pic in the web page Bear no resemblance to the room I had.i would not recommend this hotel.
