Merlewood Country Park nestles on a hillside with panoramic views of the River Wyre and the hills beyond.
All 140 pitches have been developed for privately owned Caravan Holiday Homes and with the extended Season the Park is now open from 1st March until 6th January each year

September 26 is National Fitness Day. If you're in the mood to get active then head over to Acresfield. Don't forget two FREE weekend memberships to Acresfield Health Club & Spa are available to each holiday home. To start your membership please take your licence agreement to the club reception. The only charge is £10 for the access wristband.

What can be said about Merlewood Country Park ?
We bought our holiday home on the park back in 2006. Before deciding on Merlewood we spent 12 months looking around nearly every park in Lancashire and the Lakes, and narrowed it down to two.
Our deciding factor was Simon, who works on the park. He was very helpful and made us feel part of the Merlewood family.
Over the last 8 years changes have been made, which in my opinion have made the park an even better place to be.
The place is always immaculate, and if you're looking for a great place for your holiday home, let me save you a lot of time looking round.
Come and have a look at Merlewood Country Park. You won't be disappointed.
Settling in and loving it. Just need Harry and Georgie to stop yapping at everything that moves. Xxx

Bought a caravan at the beginning of the season and my only regret is that I cannot come more often. Such a lovely, peaceful park, but central for so many places. Malcolm and Simon cannot do enough to help. I only live an hour away, but staying at Merlewood is like being in another world - the one where you chill 24/7!! Would recommend to anyone.
