Merlin Cycles

Always found Merlin to be good to deal with. Deliver stuff when they say, even if I have things delivered abroad. Returns are straight forward and refunds are prompt. Prices are good too, just bought a saddle bag for £8.00, it is £19.00 in my local bike/car accessory shop.

The one thing you can be sure of with Merlin, and I have heard others say the same thing, is that whatever you order from them online will arrive very quickly, often surprisingly so. I have never been disapointed in shopping for cycling equipment with Merlin, the prices & ranges are competitive, packages well packed, accurate and as I said always delivered promptly. I have no qualms in recommending Merlin to cycling friends, and indeed do so.

Absolutely fantastic company in every respect. Incredible delivery service, brilliant bikes (I've got a PR7) and all-round good pricing. You'll never want to shop elsewhere.

Always had excellent service from Merlin, the best products at the best prices. Some of the special offers are not to be missed. I don't waste my time trawling the net anymore , I just go straight to Merlin.

Decided give road cycling a go this year. I live near the shop so popped in. The guys were very helpful making sure I got what I needed and took the tine yo give me advice. Been in a few times now and had this great service every time. Great shop.

Ordered a waterproof jacket. Price was much better than I could find anywhere else. Jacket arrived on schedule and in great shape. I'm very pleased and will be shopping at Merlin in the future even though I'm all the way over in the US.

Products were at good prices.Took day off to await delivery. Courier (Royal Mail) did not deliver, yet claimed they tried. Cannot be relied upon. Will be more careful selecting suppliers who do not use RM in the future.

Poor service in shop. I will not be using this company again after over 20 years, when Merlin were in a small and personal company in a back street in Leyland. Visited site earlier this week for a Castelli top and was told they would give at least a10%discount in shop. Drove 20 miles at weekend to purchase the item to be told they would not reduce the price by 10%. I explained I had spend a large amount of money over the years with Merlin, however this did not count and they would not honour the discount, already agreed earlier in the week. I will not be using Merlin again and would advise others to use alternative companies. Loyalty Cleary does not count any more with Merlin, therefore I will not recommend them anymore. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience in shop. Try other internet companies with a more personal service who appreciate loyal clients.

Tried to place an order over the weekend for a group but the website wouldn't process order with mutiple tries and payment types and their customer service says the promo has expired and sorry.. it only took 4 days to get a "sorry". Better to buy elsewhere.

Ordered a 10 speed chain, 10 speed cassette, and a 105 rear derailleur but the derailleur was 11 speed. It's a shame the picker didn't notice the discrepancy. As I'd fitted it before I realised (nothing on the box or in the title of the item on their website) they wouldn't return it or do my any discount on the correct model. They effectively tricked me into buying something I can't use and they couldn't care less. When I rang they spoke to me like I should have known all 105 is 11 speed now! I won't shop with them again. Wiggle have the part I need cheaper now anyway.

they'll take your money won't deliver and then refuse your refund based on false tracking information.

Ordered a Magura Vyron dropper seatpost. Merlin had the best pricing and free shipping to even! Terrific package tracking and service.

I ordered a set of wheels at 4pm EST on a Wednesday and they arrived at my door - in New Jersey, USA - in around 50 hours. And I paid nothing for shipping. That is amazing. I did call before ordering to see if there were any issues with delivering to the US. The person was very assuring - Merlin do a lot of business to the US. In all I'm very happy. I'm still waiting for parts I ordered locally to arrive!!!
