Merlin Falconry offer bird of prey sessions, these include one to two hour Falconry experience, Owl encounters, falconry displays and pest control.

Falconry Days

A falconry experience around the lakes and woods of Buzzards Valley is a fantastic chance for you to experience being a falconer for a day. Our falconry sessions involve our trained falconers taking you out for a time session where our Harris Hawks will be flown back and forth to the gauntlet on our flying grounds. We also offer the chance to enjoy flying beautiful owls and also to see the spectacular aerial dominance of our falcons. It is a great way to begin introducing you to the Art of Falconry.

Encounters with Owls

Our Encounters with owls is a must not to be missed experience, we offer you the chance to get up close with these lovable and majestical birds. Your memorable day won't be forgotten when you meet, greet, handle and watch these incredible owls from all over the world fly in a natural environment. We take family and group bookings so don't forget your camera.

Falconry Displays & Educational Visits

Our falconry displays can be either static or flying to suite your needs, they are manned for the duration of the event by our dedicated falconers who are all CRB checked for peace of mind. We cover events such as corporate events, birthday parties, game fairs, weddings and schools. During the display we allow you to meet the birds, ask question, take photographs and much more, with our large variety of species which will guarantee to give you that Wow factor. Pest Control

Falconry is a method of bird control where birds of prey are used as a visual deterrent. We use our specially trained Hawks and Falcons to fly around problem areas thus creating its own territory this then give all local pest birds the feeling that the area is dangerous and will avoid the area. We have vast experience and knowledge in areas such as stadium, Landfills, Industrial Sites, shopping centres, town areas, farms, ports and transfer stations.

Prices

Falconry Experience
£25 per person for an hour session, which includes a Hawk Walk and handling the Owls.

Owl Encounter
£30 per person for an hour session which includes handling and flying of all Owls.

Falconry Experience
£40 per person for a 2 hour session of a Falconry experience which includes Hawk Walk, Owl Encounter and Falcon display.

Minimum of 2 people for all sessions, all sessions are private.
