Alan fletcher with a new personal best mirror at 31lb from peg 15 this weekend. This fish was 34lb on the 18th of June so has dropped a bit after spawning. Great angling Alan & congratulations on the new pb 🎣🎣🎣🎣

4 fish out of the mainlake already today with the biggest being a 30lb 5oz mirror from peg 2. Looks like their on the feed 🎣🎣🎣

Jamie Parsons has already banked the first fish since we re-opened from peg 11 at 21lb 10oz. Great angling mate.
*Merlin availability* We now have all 3 pegs available on merlin for tomorrow 24hrs.

We will re-open the Fishery from tomorrow & while we have been closed we’ve been doing some maintenance work. Within that I took the decision to remove peg 3 as I believed it was too tight and was a danger due to cut-offs & people bullying fish, resulting in unnecessary mouth damage! As you can see on the pegging map the peg numbers have altered a little which I’m sure will cause some confusion 😂.
*New rule*
... From the 1st of August I will be banning shelf life boillies. I appreciate they are a lot better that what they were years ago but they are still preserved & there are some horrors on the market which I have witnessed here! Anyone doing longer sessions can store freezer baits in our freezer throughout your session!

Feeding time at the lake after the fish spawning. The fish received 25 to 30kg of Aller Aqua 8mm & 11mm pellets per day during our closure to help build up their strength after spawning.
We re-open on Friday 19th. The mainlake is fully booked but merlin has full availability for that whole weekend.

*SPAWNING, FISHERY CLOSED*
This morning the fish have started spawning all around the lakes.
With this we are now closed and will re-open on Friday 19th of July.

*FISHERY CLOSED*
We have decided to shut the Fishery for a few days to give the fish a deserved break from angling pressure. Our stock haven’t spawned as yet but I believe it is close and could happen anytime soon. I will notify any anglers booked on if they start as then we will close for a further 2 weeks to rest the stock & do maintenance work. ... I am receiving so many calls & messages regarding spawning! Anyone booked on will receive a phone call or message within the hour if anything starts. Also we will post on Facebook & Instagram.

Mark has just dropped in peg 9 for the weekend and with the wind hacking into that bay he banked this 22lb 6oz mirror within an hour. Great angling mate 🎣🎣🎣

A couple more for Harry & Aaron on pegs 4 & 5 with the biggest going 26lb 4oz. Great angling guys 🎣🎣🎣
