Merrylands Campsite

2nd time visit for myself and daughter 10yr old. We both love it here.
Quiet peaceful retreat where they encourage you to have an open fire to sit round and toast your marshmallows on.
Only sound I can hear right now as I sit by the last burning crackling embers of tonight's fire is that of the little stream in the wooded area behind me.
The hot showers are basic but more than adequate. Mains water taps are scattered here and there if required. Hot water is supplied for washing up when needed as are the 2 washing up sink stations.
The family living here are very welcoming and super friendly and helpful.
Looking forward to next year already.

Merrylands really is agreat campsite certainly not a boring holiday park. Fantastic and very safe for kids with loads to do in the area. We keep going back every year. Thanks Maggie
