This Astra was delivered to us this morning from a UK 'leading fast fit specialist for tyres, exhausts, batteries and brakes. After several discussions with the owner over the last few days regarding a no start issue. New battery fitted by customer. Still no start. Work completed by above company: New starter, burnt wires, Still no start, recommended to fit new alternator £191, not required. Still no start. Solution: Relay, less than £10.... Starts no problem. Customer bough a Vauxhall Movano from a garage. Within days, dpf problem arose, returned to trader, incorrectly diagnosed issue on 2 separate occasions. Customer arrived, asking for help. Found the problem. Fixed, remapped, 125-165 Bhp 310-400 Nm torque. Invoice sent to trader for resolving Dpf. Trader paid invoice. Remap was a bonus!

Bmw 116D in with a Dpf issue. Various issues caused this, once diagnosed, explained options available. Booked in. Arrived. Resolved. Economy remap flashed on. 115-160 Bhp 260-350- Nm Torque.... Test drive, normal response from customer is an expletive, I wasn't let down. 100% hit rate!

This huge beast arrived today. Chap was concerned that there was a problem with the turbo, making a dreadful squealing noise, when revved. Possibly resulting in a large invoice. Dropped off for diagnostics. Nothing on logging the vehicle, pressures etc. Open the bonnet. No loose pipes. Smoked tested. Nothing. Further examination discovered new exhaust manifold gasket.... LOOSE BOLTS UNDERSIDE OF IT. GRR Torqued them up. (Git to get to). Sorted. Invoice was 10% of replacement turbo! Very happy man.

Frustrated customer arrived with a workhorse vehicle. Limp mode. Dashboard full of lights. In limp mode. Various sensors weren't working. Dpf blocked. All resolved. And more power. 123-180 Bhp 330-420 Nm Torque. What a day!

2013 Bmw 520D in for a Dpf problem with an exhaust manifold issue. Problem.... exhaust pressure sensor banjo bolt stripped. Manifold leaking fumes into car. Solution. Replace manifold. Customer ordered online. Problem? Wrong thread!. So we had to manufacture a bolt to fit. 3 stage Dpf clean. All done with a stage 1 remap.... 184-220 Bhp 380-440 Nm Torque

A true gentleman in this weekend for a stage 1 remap. Called a few weeks ago with concerns about his M Sport, with a few issues. Arrived for a complete diagnostics check, advised about a few concerns regarding a minor previous bump. Returned to dealer, admitted they missed a few problems, they have booked it in to repair the parts. Soòooo came in for a stage 1... 190-220 Bhp 380- 440Nm torque Laughing like a kid on test drive! Call from Chris at Clear Cars. Auxiliary/fan belt snapped on 1 of his cars. Replaced by a local garage. He explained it was struggling to start. The car arrived. Upon investigation, I found pieces of the belt in the pulleys of the timing belt, obstructing their rotation. Jumping 2 teeth. As you can see from the pictures, the material, and the 2nd picture showing the camshaft not aligning. The locking hole should be visible, not just half of it. Result. Locked and pinned cor...rectly. Fit the cam belt. Started first turn of key.

I didn't take any bookings for New Year Eve. Pottering around the garage organising, cleaning etc. Took a call from the dad of a serviceman who is based many miles away. His sons car had gone into limp mode on the way home on leave. Could I help? Of course! They arrived just after lunch, diagnostics done and booked in for today.... Dpf blocked, due to a faulty sensor. Replaced, then our 3 stage Dpf clean, regeneration and BINGO!, resolved. He's just told me it's like a new car. Young lady arrived 3 months ago. With a whistling noise and lack of power. Booked in for diagnostics and smoke test. Found a leaking intercooler pipe. Called dealer for part, 'oh it's not in stock, we will put it on back order from Spain'. It arrived this week! 3 months! I couldn't even find a used 1 as a temporary measure! Dozens of the same vehicle parked up around the UK, unusable. Thankfully resolved!

Transit with dpf issue. No power, in limp mode. Struggled to get it into the garage. Dpf solution, done. Stage 1 remap.... 125-180 Bhp 330-420 Nm Torque. Great start to the new year!

Customer arrived with a bit of a rattle and lack of power. Rattle! Immediately diagnosed as turbo finished. Totally! Reason, blocked oil feed pipes to turbo. Blocked filter. Oil came out like glue from sump.... Sourced replacement turbo. Fitted and back on the road. Sorted

Local company BJL Groundworks, Prescot, brought this gargantuan sprinter for diagnostics earlier this week. It's huge! Diagnosed with blocked dpf due to charge air pressure issue. Arrived this morning, 3 stage dpf clean, economy remap. 110-160 Bhp 250-350 Nm Torque ... Delivered safely back to this young man's house, test drive...... oh his face!......My baby is back better than before he said! Dam big baby!
