With the weather back to showers - its right back to the water ingress faults!
It's always important to make the the scuttle of your vehicle stays clear of debris - this Fiat Panda had been living under a tree, and over time the scuttle area below the windscreen had become blocked and subsequently had allowed a build up of water, which would shower the drivers feet when pulling away or braking - perfect for the snails but not great for daily use!
Not ideal - but a relativel...y easy job to tackle, with a quick strip down, clear out and reassembly being the order of the day.
This is an item often overlooked, but always checked and cleared if required as part of the manufactures servicing carried out by the team at MES.

The joy of another MINI cabin fan motor failure!
We are seeing failures of Cabin fan motors more and more often caused by poor maintenance. The pollen filter which sits before the fan to filter debris / bugs / pollen from entering the vehicle has a purpose and a lifespan. When they are not changed on time they usually block up, and end up either deteriorating to the point of collapse or being sucked into the fan itself.
Simple Manufacturer Approved Servicing is all that is ...called for. You may find that in the short term, it could cost slightly more then the "gold/silver/bronze" style that some fast-fit style operations would offer - but in the long term, you could end up paying dearly. In the words of this owner with regards to budget servicing - "never again!".
