Ardley Parlour Concerts

On the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from the M40, Manor Farm is a small venue for events such as micro festivals, music camps, rehearsal or recording space, even weddings and wood crafts. Ideally situated not far from Oxford, half way between Birmingham and London, it currently hosts the annual Fiddle Festival of Britain, Parlour Concerts and occasional band rehearsals. Essentially this is just our home, but we have a lot of wonderful space and it seems a pity not to share it. Bordered by a small belt of woodland, and walled to provide privacy and security, the grounds are flexible and romantic in an informal way. We have three large well-mown lawns /fields which provide separate areas for setting up a marquee or two, for car parking, for bouncy castles and even as backdrops for a photo-shoot.
With the WoodShed Bar - equipped with a 9 foot altar as the bar - at the hub of the site, you can run your own relaxed and informal wedding or other event the way you want it without being overwhelmed by snooty hotel staff or stuffy decor.
Indoors we have the music room, complete with organ, grand piano, and pulpit (ideal for speeches! ) which is used for events such as our Parlour Concerts and by musicians for rehearsal space or occasional recordings in an acoustic setting.
