This is a fun day out for all ages. We've been twice and enjoyed the exhibits and riding in vintage carriages pulled by steam locomotives. There is a tea room and often real ale.

A lovely little museum, that clearly has a hardworking and dedicated group of volunteers. It is however extreemly small and I would not recommend for children (at least under 10s) as there really is not alot for them to do or see. Even for adults I would estimate an hour to an hour and a half is really the max time it occupies.

If the bar is open, great selection of beer. Small railway with limited track but can ride as many times as you like with a selection of different carriages to choose from.

Enjoyable but small railway. Best time to visit is when they have special events on. Volunteers are passionate and knolegeable. Micro bar has a FANTASTIC range or LOCALLY sourced beers and ciders worth a visit on its own

Lovely place to visit. One cost and you can ride the steam training as many times as you want. Was a bit small though, a good couple of hours tops.

A nice stop for a couple of hours. Aim for a day that isn't just a normal running day as there will be more on. Unlikely to be able to spend more than a couple of hours however!

Tiny, but ultra-friendly, live steam heritage railway. Wonderful day out - great trains, great people, great beer and great books!

Great little historic steam preservation centre. Watch out for the Station Master who was a bit grumpy with some visitors we observed. Good couple of hours visit to be had.
