We are recruiting on behalf of our global client is looking to recruit an Assistant as a member of their Trading department. The Assistant will focus on ordering and inbounding Wine, Sprits and Everyday Collections products. This is a challenging opportunity for a driven and pro-active individual with excellent communication and organisation skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As the E-Commerce Trading Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Schedule delive...ries for Wine, Sprits and Everyday Collections into third party warehouses in a timely manner to ensure high levels of product availability Recommend order volumes for seasonal lines and protocols Daily communication to monitor and react to daily delivery developments Investigate receiving and booking in discrepancies Work closely with other Trading Assistants, Fulfilment and third-party suppliers Maintain a strong working relationship with Corporate Logistics and Buying Provide analysis and reporting on availability and goods in operations Manage and improve supplier performance Work between all eCommerce Departments to plan for peak inbound seasons Develop and understanding of the Department and other Trading Assistant roles to enable cover and strong teamwork

In return the E-Commerce Trading Assistant will receive a basic salary of £31,040 rising to £36,245pa. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.

Duties and responsibilities will include;

Quotation requests will often require prompt communication and input from a number of departments and external parties On receipt of the clients purchase order the executive will check the quotes and supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy of the order against the quote and that the correct terms and conditions have been applied. Act as a key point of contact for our clients to help with quote and order related queries Act as a team player by offering support to colleagues when required The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of producing quotes and purchase orders within a fast-paced environment ideally within a professional services, must have a high attention to detail, be numerate and have the ability to work accurately whilst meeting tight deadlines, including working to ensure targets are met at month end, quarter end, year-end etc.
Experience of working with complex pricing and experience of using SAP or a similar relational database would be an advantage.
In return the Assistants will receive a basic salary of £23,000 plus 20% bonus, car parking and excellent training and development opportunities within the organisation.
