Middlesex University Exchange Students Description

A student exchange gives you the opportunity to study part of your degree here at Middlesex abroad at one of our Partner Universities. Not to mention that we have over 100 Partner Universities to choose from!

You earn credits towards you degree whilst studying abroad, so if the travel bug has gotten you, why not choose to study your degree whilst exploring another culture at the same time. Who knows - you might even have fun!

Good morning Middlesex University students!
We have an exciting opportunity for PhD students to go to one of our partner universities in Serbia, the University of Kragujevac, to do a postdoctoral research and receive a generous grant. Here's some more information:
It is my great pleasure to inform you that the University of Kragujevac has publish the public ... Call for applications for scholarships for Postdoctoral Researchers from Foreign Universities for the Academic Year 2018/19.
The University of Kragujevac will award one scholarship, totaling 1000 euros per month, for postdoctoral specialization lasting for a minimum period of one month to a maximum of three months, during the academic year 2018/19.
The Scholarship will be awarded to a candidate who is:
• employed in the foreign university • engaged in a research project (university, national, international) • not older than 40 years • and has a doctorate in one of the fields implemented at the University of Kragujevac: - natural sciences - medical sciences - technical and technological sciences - social sciences and humanities - art
The Deadline for submitting applications is May 01, 2018. More information can be found on the official website of the University of Kragujevac.

The Erasmus and Exchanges office is working alongside the Language and Culture Exchange team and the MDX Erasmus and Exchanges Community to bring the Language cafés to you. Native speakers of different languages will be there to chat about the language and culture of their countries. We will be in the grove next Wednesday and Thursday (21st and 22nd March) from 10:00 to 12:00 so come say hello and have a go at learning a new language!

We also offer funded work placements in Europe, allowing all students ...to gain further fundamental experience whilst discovering a new culture, which will look even more so impressive in your CV.
In this workshop we will discuss: - Study placements (both inside and outside Europe), - Work placements, - Application procedures, - Eligibility and ideal time frames, - Partner HEIs
The workshop will take place in the College Building, Room C205 on Thursday 01/02/2018 from 14:00 to 15:00, and again from 15:00 to 16:00.
Places are limited, so you will need to register to attend through UniHelp Online. You can do so by logging in to your myUniHub > Help > UniHelp Online > My Appointments and Workshops > Events > Select ‘Student Exchange Team’ on your left hand side.

ATTENTION Postgraduate Middlesex University Students:
The Erasmus & Exchange team is pleased to inform you about the funded opportunities available for research students to go abroad for 5 months to one of our partner universities outside Europe to carry your research under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme.
By 2020, it is expected that all doctoral students will have an element of international mobility during their research. For students pursuing t...heir research, the ICM programme offers a unique opportunity for Middlesex participants to benefit from generous financial support. This is open to all doctoral students, full time or part time, although part-time students will have to be engaged in their research full time during the visit.
This workshop will provide more information on our Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) funding opportunities available for doctoral/3rd cycle students undertaking a research visit to one of our ICM partner institutions in 13 countries outside Europe. Through this programme, doctoral students can receive €650 /month for up to 5 months plus a travel grant for the visit.
In our workshop we will discuss: * Funding specifics for doctoral students (including travel grants) * eligibility and ideal time frames * duration of the visit * partner HEIs * application procedures
