Very professional yard. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners and made me feel very welcome today when I had my pre-booked horse riding lesson today. Thanks for tonight's lesson, Leah loved riding Atlas, she was a little nervous at first with not riding for the last 8 months but she's really enjoyed herself and carnt wait to get back into it, you and your partner should be very proud with yourselves as your livery is beautiful and very welcoming, your daughter showed me around and i can see you both av put great effort toward this xx i wish you all the luck and i no you will be seeing us for while �� i might even av a lesson myself in the summer � see you in the new year xxx

Our daughter had a pony party for her 7th birthday with 15 friends - non riders and riders, boys and girls all had a fabulous time, we had great feedback from parents!! Thank you Heather and Steve for making our little girls day so special!

My 4 year old had a fantastic lesson on Bluey with Heather tonight . After having her confidence knocked recently Heather really put her and me at ease. Very professional, beautiful horses and a lovely friendly yard. Highly recommended �

Josh had a wonderful lesson he learnt a lot, had fun and can’t waiy for his next lesson. He felt safe and happy throughout thank you so much.

I've had my mare at Middleton for a month now. She's settled incredibly well and has put on loads of weight and condition since being there.

The care of the horses is always the yards top priority with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed which makes incredibly happy and settled horses and liveries. Thank you for looking after my girl and I so beautifully.

I've had Heather as a riding instructor for a few years now, group and private, and she is a great instructor. More recently she has been giving me private lessons which I feel me and my horse have both benefited from a lot! She explains things thoroughly and gives you things to work on for next time. Highly Recommended.

I've got to share this after a really fab lesson this morning! After 2 lessons I really feel that me and my horse have improved greatly. Heather is very patient and I highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much for being a fantastic instructor

I have had 2 lessons now after having little success so far.. Now my boy n I have had the best three hours at cannock chase. Heather corrected me and gave me confidence to get my legs n contact right, its like riding a new pony! Everything she taught me yesterday worked perfectly, straight forward, simple instruction, stops u as soon as it is wrong so u get it right quickly. Always confirms lessons, reliable, not late and so easy to talk to and going extra mile by offering support on phone n text if i need it. Thank you and cant wait to see what we can achieve next, I'm so happy!!

I Have started to bring my daughter Holly here to resume riding lessons after a lack of progress elsewhere. Heather has taken her right back to basics and improved everything about her riding.. and most importantly, Holly laughs and giggles throughout which is lovely to see. The yard is very well kept and the ponies have character!

Heather was very good to myself and Jake who is 17hh, she worked us hard and we got the results we needed, she was sympathetic to both the horse and rider but keeping in simple terms that I could work with. I am looking forward to more lessons and taking Jake to some shows and dressage.

Heather is fab! She has soon sorted me and my stroppy mare out, been having lesson from Heather for a while now and I love them. She gives clear instructions, and is happy to talk you through things if unsure! She is very reliable, always early for lessons and goes above and beyond by offering advice and support on the phone what ever time it is as well as always texting the day before the lesson to confirm it! She's very patient and friendly, easy to get on with. She sure has improved not only my confidence but my mares confidence too! Heather is highly recommended! Xx

Heather is a complete super star, I was beginning to get deflated with my stroppy horse! I've had about 5 lessons with Heather and the only thing I can say is.....she's a complete super star, she has completely changed my horse in a very short time, hes a pleasure to ride and he's going so well. She's very patient, very explanatory and a lovely pleasant person to deal with. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Heather and Steve kindly fitted me in for a week's holiday livery when visiting my parents in Barlaston. Had a great week riding on Barlaston Downs and my horse Valentino loved being there. A great yard, thank you so much! We will be back next year :-)

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Middleton for my Daughter’s 6th birthday party. The children spent time grooming the pony’s before taking part in riding challenges and games in teams. All the staff were lovely and really good at directing and supporting the kids, especially as the majority of them had never been on a horse before.



All the children are still talking about the party and had a great time. The rosettes were a lovely touch and many of them have taken them into school to talk about their experience.



I agree with Rachel that a bench and gazebo for them to be able to eat/drink on would just add to the experience, but even so I don’t think we could have asked for a better party.

Attended a party here today. It was fab a lovely setting. Staff were friendly and the horses were beautiful.

Only thing lacking was a place to eat and drink that would make it the ideal party package.

My daughter enjoyed it. Thanks

Amazing tuition on a beautiful yard, Heather and Steve run a very professional, friendly yard. The horses are settled and looked after fantastically and the facility's are brilliant. Heather teaches my daughter and I, she is patient but firm and definitely knows her stuff! There are also regular clinics held onsite.
