Our dessert of the week is.... Pancakes! 🥞
There’s a choice of 4 toppings; lemon and sugar, maple syrup, strawberries and chocolate sauce, banana and toffee.

Myself, husband and son came here yesterday, hadn't booked a table but was seated straight away, we all ate from the set menu, all three courses were delicious, this is our second time here and it was good the first time and didn't disappoint this time, lovely friendly waitress, was her first week at Middleton's.

My partner brought me here for my birthday meal. We have recently moved here from London and have been very disappointed with different restaurants we have tried, however we were delighted with the food which was cooked to perfection. The cocktail were devine and the service with smiles was outstanding. I believe our waitress was a lovely lady called Jessica. I can’t express how delighted we were. Thank you so much.

Me and my family came here for dinner last night, when we arrived we were advised that they were short on staff and the wait would be about 45 minutes for food. We sat down and although we waited a long time for our first drinks, these were then deducted off our bill without any questions, the food came out and it was amazing. The wait in between starters and mains was long enough to let the starters settle. The staff were very apologetic for the wait and made sure we were happy the whole time even though they were very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and I will definitely be returning soon

Had a lovely evening, safe to say they have redeemed themselves after a not so good first visit. Food was cooked perfectly by Chloe with a service to match it from Shane, will definitly be returning again. :)

Food was great. Service was great. Place was warm and cosy. We all (four of us) ate really well and were happy to have got a table without booking.



My only comment would be to not drown a salad in mayo. In retrospect I should've asked for mayo on the side. I opt for salads to eat raw green tasty food and it was a little over dressed but apart from that all was perfect.



Would deffo recommend and would happily eat here again. Thanks for a lovely finish to the weekend xxx

Enjoyed another excellent lunch this week with 5 friends who were very impressed with the food we had off the set menu . It was very busy and the waitresses and Chef did a great job .

maybe a little more pricey than some other venues but the quality of the food justifies it.

Wait time for starter was a little long ,but we were with good company so wasn't a problem.

Extra touch for one of our party as it was their birthday , by decorating the dessert plate was lovely and went the extra mile to please.

We went there on 13.10.17 as a party of 4. This is the second time I have been but can't really remember the first visit. The venue is comfortable, pleasant and the atmosphere warm. The staff are pleasant and attentive......



But... We were getting ready to complain about waiting time between the starter and serving of the main course. It was way too long and the venue certainly wasn't heaving.



The food is tasty and the steaks are cooked properly to the desired level but they are overpriced. For the time we waited I was also disappointed to get frozen fries in this type of establishment. Well certainly that's how they tasted.



I would go again on invitation as we had a pleasant enough evening apart from the waiting times and costs, but in my view we could have just as nice a meal by ordering an Aberdeen Angus steak meal from a popular chain in the town centre which would have been larger and cheaper. That tells me Middletons need to raise their game just a bit.

Your serving staff are totally amazing, we had a fabulous female server and nothing was too much trouble so inviting and a pleaser. Ordering was fine, we did have a little while to wait but I always believe some things are worth waiting for! The starters absolutely amazing, good hot food we had the Middleton sharing platter, the bar tender made a fabulous cocktails. The main dinner was served and it was disappointingly as the sweet potato fries were cold to touch and the surf turf I had ordered a medium rare steak was more a well done the lobster was a little chewy but still the flavour was yummy, but it was such a disappointment as this was our first visit because of our wedding anniversary. The lovely lady was fantastic after we had finished I explained and a credit was made, such a shame as myself and my husband were so excited.

Ok, but nowhere near as good as Middletons in Norwich. In fact it’s hard to believe that they are part of the same chain. Cocktails were nice but the steaks and the way they were cooked was very average. Disappointing considering the prices charged. Would agree with a previous review that the meals served looked and tasted like overpriced pub grub.

Took my partner for lunch today i could tell it was going to be a shocker from the get go first thing was i orderd a stella shandy the lemonade was flat also the shandy was warm then the starters arrived i orderd sticky bbq ribs i didnt see on the menu where it said frozen ribs but thats what i got then for the main event under cooked fries a over cooked burger and a 3 day old dry bun all in all a terrible eating experience never again will we visit you call yourself a steakhouse but you cant even cook fries correct let alone a steak

Over priced pub grub at best. Ordered drinks and starter waited 20 minutes for a drink and a further 15 minutes for starter to come. Just over 45 minute wait for main course, even though we had ordered nothing from the menu that was stipulated as a 40 minute wait. Asked for water for the table and got given a bottle just big enough to fill one glass (table of 4) which we received after asking 2 different servers and still waiting 30 minutes for that. Waited 20 minutes for dessert menus and and then waited a further 20 minutes for them to come out. Only for the cream to be sour and well gone off. Service was that poor we even had to wait to complain. At no point in ya being there for over 2.5hrs were we shown any kind of hospitality. Also when we told the waitress about the gone off dessert her response was “yeah”. Absolute amateurs. Will definitely not be going back and will not be recommending to others

After visiting tonite I was very disappointed, we had Pre booked our meals and still took over a hour to arrive ! We had a small child who was nearly asleep by the time the food arrived after 8pm!!!

There was no customer services at all, no one asked if we needed anything , or any more drinks, we had to ask numerous time for food and desert, when our little girls desert arrived the chocolate brownie was burnt.

We will not be revisiting !
