Middlezoy Cricket Club in its current form was started in 2002. The club boasts two adult Saturday teams playing in the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset Cricket League with the 1st XI playing in the Premier Division and the 2nd XI playing in Division 7N. We also have an adult Sunday team who play in Division B of the Somerset County Sports Sunday League.

The club place a large emphasis on Youth and on-going player development. Players and Youth Members are not limited to the village and we currently have a large membership who travel regularly from the surrounding area. The Club have Under 11’s who generally play on Friday evenings, Under 13’s and Under 15’s who both play generally on Sunday mornings. Training generally starts at Easter and is every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7pm for the younger players and from 7pm to 8pm for the older children. Both boys and girls are welcome to come down on any Tuesday evening and have a go.

The Club plays all of its home games at Middlezoy Village Hall (www. middlezoyvillagehall.org) which boasts full changing facilities and showers for both home and away teams and also a full kitchen for the all important match teas!
