Mike'S Bikes Portishead

From my experience the staff could not be more helpful, giving lots of advice listening to what I wanted, answering my numerous questions and were not pushy. I found my experience excellent and would really recommend them.

The shop is well stocked so that is a plus. However, most items are overpriced compared to other shops in the area. Additionally, the staff seem to be bike snobs. Definitely don't admit to buying a bike from Halfords! I found their advice to be condescending and insulting at times. I was told not to buy from Chain Reaction as they don't sell the right kit and I would find that a standard bottom bracket would be an OEM one and I would end up replacing it... WTF? I am sure if I had a £2k bike bought from them, I would be treated differently.

Got my bike serviced there last week. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely use again and recommend to any one in the area.

Amazing service and very very helpful. I can happily recommend and I will be going back whenever I need too. I felt like I had 5* service from these people and that's why I gave them a 5* rating :)
