Dumbo octopuses are rarely seen as they live in the deep open ocean, reaching depths of at least 13,100 feet and perhaps deeper. This makes them the deepest living of all known octopuses!

Marine biologists for the first time have recorded singing by one of the rarest whales on the planet, the north Pacific right whale.

If you are heading into our Chiswick store over the next few week days please be aware that parking spaces outside our store will be limited whilst the building facade undergoes some general maintenance and painting. Parking isn't an issue on Saturday.
We hope the work will be completed on Monday but it will depend largely on the weather.

An incredibly rare sight out on the water today. Whale sharks are considered to be endangered, but at least these ones might be helping the future population!
Very little is known about where whale sharks mate and few sightings have ever been recorded so this is a very exciting observation.

Paul Finnegan and Colin Macleod are attempting to swim the Big Minch Channel (between mainland Scotland and the Western Isles) to raise funds for the Western Isles Community Care Forum and Cancer Research UK. An impressive challenge and worthy causes.
