over the years ive bought many species of wild caught Tanganyikan fish through Mikes rifts and got to say the fish and service is second to none , always a large selection of wild caught and tank rifts from lakes Malawi and Tanganyika . if mike doesn't have it he can get it , even rare or fish that arnt often collected so gets five stars from me and with the business growing and expanding the uk rift keepers have a great supplier of these amazing fish , if you havnt yet visited mikes place what are you waiting for ? :)

mike is top chap really helpful and responds quickly he there to help you if its needed...

been going to mikes for about 18months now and been up to his place and its unbelievable the quality of his fish is fantastic and he also posts fish and have never been disappointed also fish arrive before 9am the next morning all packed with heat packs, i would highly recommend going there but if you cant i would trust mike do send out anything

Wouldn’t buy anywhere else. Very knowledgable and always at the end of the phone for advice. Takes a lot of pride in the quality and well being of his stock.

Took a long drive up to Mike's Rift was well worth the 3:30hr drive up! Moat knowledgeable guy if met in the fish keeping world or should i say water keeping world! He's such an honest guy and straight to the point. Fantastic!

I have just bought my first fish of Mike. I'm very new to keeping mbuna's. His knowledge is amazing very helpful and the quality of his stock is something else. This will definitely not be my last visit.

I have been buying my fish from Mike for the last few years (both in person and via post) and I can't recommend him highly enough!! His fish house is definitely worth a visit, even if you live a distance away as you won't be disappointed!! He knows his stuff and really cares about the fish......you can't go wrong! He stocks wilds, F1's and tank breds so there is something for everyone!

I have a group of wild msobo from mikes and they are absolutely stunning, can't wait to buy more, Mikes a top bloke and knows his stuff

I am very impressed with the quality of the fish and the knowledge that Mike has, I spoke with him for 2 hours in depth with the species I wanted to keep and got advice of stocking and species ratios. Really happy with the fish I purchased and will be back in the future.

Had the pleasure of visiting Mike's Rifts at the weekend, great down to earth guy, great advice and great fish, I bought some syno's and cyathopharynx which travelled well to Scotland, settled in without any problems and were feeding right away. Mike will be my first port of call in the future for tangs. Thanks again.

Had all my stock from Mike over the years very pleased to say the least always in great shape and Mike gives his advice along the way take it.

Could not ask for better quality fish, in fact you can't get better in the UK full stop. Mike helped with stock selection also have me plenty of advice and after care. Recommended to anyone who is serious about keeping these beautiful fish. 10/10

Bought some very nice Tropheus Chiwena Red from Mike they have all settled in nicely and are starting to settle down from their 'dominance' displays. It was good chatting to Mike too seeing as I don't know too much about rift lake cichlids. Very knowledgable fella and had a lot of time for me! The Calvus and Transcriptus I also bought are gorgeous and have coloured up amazingly! I just now need some female Brevis to go with the males he had left haha.
