We stayed at Premier Inn and had breakfast at the Mill.



Very friendly and helpful staff.



Food fresh and cooked breakfast very tasty.



Clean and tidy restaurant.



Next time we stay we will definitely use the restaurant in the evening.

The breakfast today was 10/10 cooked to perfection and hot! The breakfast staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be visiting again very soon! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Stayed next door at premier inn for business on 2 occasions over the past fortnight, and ate at The Mill both times. The food is good, tasty and reasonable choice. It would be good to see a couple of more classic vegetarian choices please. The team are outstanding, polite, helpful and attentive. Really made me feel welcome, they were professional and friendly. Highly recommend eating here.

Stayed at the premier inn & luckily the weather was glorious so we opted for tea at the mill. The staff were so lovely! The food was fairly priced & great quality. Breakfast was also great. We will defiantly back next year when we visit the zoo! Only thing I think would be a fab extra is maybe a little play area for the children or offering an activity sheet & pencils. Other than that defiantly 5*

Lovely shared platter and puddings, great staff and lovely place to eat bit difficult to get parked unless you are familiar with the place it is chargeable parking but refunded in the pub if you eat/drink. Highly recommended

Been tonight for a valentine's 3 course meal ,Food was lovely ,staff are very attentive and lovely would highly recommend to everyone,will be visiting again

Came this evening for a Christmas

Eve get together with family and it was fab. Our meals were brought out within 10/15 minutes of ordering and were piping hot. My husband and I had the cheese burger with fries and a cookie Sunday to follow- both of which were brimming over the plates/bowls.

The young man Ryan on the bar took our order- he was very cheery and happy considering he was under pressure with a slight que and he did not make us feel rushed.

Our table service was impeccable from the waitress Kaya, she had gone through the extra effort to decorate our table with crackers and made sure we were happy with our food.

The price was also very reasonable for 'pub grub'. All in all I was very impressed and will be visiting again

Well i went yesterday 11 December and had the cranberry and nutroast festive meal ├Ś2 for me and my partner. Waited quite along time , the meal was alright but not very warm. No one came to check if it was ok. I think this pub was short of staff only two young girls taking orders for drinks and meals. Don t think i would rush back to that pub . But we have a local farye and square pub which i use quite often and i can t fault that pub.

The food was great, the decor lovely and the waiting staff polite - my disappointment is regarding the time to wait for our meals - 55 mins for our main then 25 mins for dessert which only consisted of two brownies with ice cream and a bowl of ice cream. Having been open for 10 weeks I expected a better oiled machine in the kitchen as other venues don't appear to struggle like this when busy. Other venues also manage expectations when taking orders if a big delay. As local, I was hoping for a great experience but we won't be rushing back.

Just what you'd expect from a pub. Insanely pretty barmaid Cat, but the chef has a habit of slightly burning the bacon and sausages at breakfast.

Overall a rather disappointing meal yestrdy eve. Waited over an hour for our meals - to be fair they did provide free drinks when we pointed out the delay; however when meals arrived they were clearly overcooked, my guess is sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Despite assurances that they had been cooked 'fresh' & the offer of free desserts it didn't tempt us & unfortunately we won't be tempted back for food again in the near future.

Nice atmosphere, starter was great but the main course did not match the high expectations that the hosts gave of the food been better than it was before the refurbishment. Jesture of a free tea made up for been let down some what but to be honest felt let down by the whole experience, may give it another go once the chef finds his or her feet.
