The hotel was excellent and great staff.....it is on the Chelsea football club site which is quite unique and well positioned for easy access to central London but also the quirky nearby places. You dont need to go far to eat and drink and the sports bar was good fun albeit a little expensive. Really enjoyed the stay and we got a decent price for London .....so very happy

I was in the copthorne staying for business. Great location, no football on so lovely and quiet. Rooms were spacious and clean. Efficient at breakfast though as I was leaving I could see a queue forming. Would stay there again.

User

Clean hotel very friendly and well presented staff Very close to the tube in and out to get to the city very good WiFi ... Only down side was the water pressure in the shower is very very weak and the water is loop warm !!

Clean and tidy, stylish, warm and cosy, comfortable and staff attentive and friendly :) Breakfast staff looked like they worked in the gym, i thought we were going to get a free induction when we walked in the breakfast room !

Wouldn't put this in the 4 star bracket when compared to other 4 stars I have stayed in. Room ok but severe lack of double rooms available, the single bed was very narrow. Shower was a mere dribble. Location spot on though and staff friendly although only offered 1 breakfast price at check in despite there being a range of options. Having to pay a 30 pound deposit is quite rare.

We stayed last night (21st January) we booked a superior room which was ok. Went to have a shower in the morning and the water was cold our friends in the next room had the same problem. The towel I used had black marks on it was not very clean at all, the fridge was empty the hotel is tired looking and needs a revamp in my opinion, not a four star as stated.

We had booked breakfast which was ok except I asked for the poached eggs on brown toast the eggs were fine but the toast was not toasted at all it was just a limp bit of brown bread not buttered so by the time I had done myself a piece of toast which was put through their toaster three times and still not toasted the eggs were cold. I think you need to get the toasting equipment looked at as it does not do what it is supposed to do.

We got this hotel on top secret hotels for £75. Room too hot, bed very comfortable, furnishings dusty, table leg falling off. Otherwise it was fine for a cheap night out in London and a base. Wouldn’t pay anymore for it though. It served its purpose.

If this is truly an AA 4☆ hotel, then sorry but their standards have dropped dramatically. The room was 2☆ at best, with furniture that could have fallen apart at any point. A total lack of power points and then there was the trouser press (which apparently is one of criteria in a 4☆ rating) fell apart as soon I opened it. Then there was the key card fiasco which you needed to enter your room and to operate the lift but didn't work half the time and would unceremoniously dump you on the ground floor (we were on the 6th) and then not let you out! When we finally made up to our room the key card then wouldn't let us in so it was off back down to reception to get the cards re-activated and start the whole sorry process again. The only saving graces were; the breakfast was admirable and the staff polite and helpful. As a life long Chelsea fan and thoroughly looking forward to my stay here I found the overall experience disappointing to say the least.

I find it a bit impersonal staying at the millennium. Had to go out of the hotel for breakfast in the copthorne across a very wet plaza.

The same plaza that gets very noisy at night, especially when security are having shouted conversations to each other and members of the public.

The rooms are ok, although a few elements need fixing, the key to the wardrobe, the sink didn’t drain as quickly as it should, bits of chrome missing from the showing fixing.

There is not much information about the menus in the various bars and eateries. However when I did find them they all did the same food, which was a little disappointing. Luckily there are loads of places to eat in the Fulham rd.

Having said that it was clean, comfortable, fairly quiet for London. Great location for the tube, so easy for me to get around.

A bit out of date decor and flipping upgrade the facilities to a Steam Iron in every room!!!

We actually paid for 2 nights and went home after one and when they said we wouldn't get our money back for the night we weren't staying we said we didn't care because honestly I would have paid to get out of there. How the Milennium is considered a 4 star deluxe is beyond both me and my partner and baffled both of us. The room had an odd smell as did the hallways, the towels smelt horrible and after getting out of the bath (which we had to clean because it was filthy) and smelling nice I was appalled to smell the towel I needed to dry off with. The bed was uncomfortable and felt small for a double bed. The pillows were horrendously flat and we both kept trying to pile them up in the night. The room didn't look 4 star standard at all. The mini fridge is empty??? What's the point??? Shower is in the tiny bath. We paid extra to upgrade to deluxe and we both said we dreaded to think what it would have been like without an upgrade. Checking out a night early purely due to the standard of the hotel should tell you all you need to know really

This hotel is never a 4 star! Becoming very tired, needs updating! Be careful when you buy a drink at the bar, they add on an extra service charge and don’t inform you! It’s around 50p to pour a pint for you which makes it £5.55 at pint! It also costs £36 to park in the hotel car park so bear that in mind before you book it!

Me and my partner are currently staying here for 1 night (thank fuck).. we dropped our bags and turned the air-con on to the hot setting, so the room was warm for when we got back from our evening outing!.. we got back to what can only be described as Antarctica!!.. the room is freezing, its now 2am and when I rang down to reception to complain, they sent a maintenance man up, who agreed it was very cold and he gave us a electric heater!.. as they couldn't move us anywhere else as they were fully booked!.. the heater blows off as much heat as a pair of straighteners!!.. we are both fully clothed and a dressing gown on to feel slightly warm!.. absolute piss poor service and the same can be said for the hearing system! I expect a email from the manager with some sort of refund as this is diabolical

I stayed for one night in copthorne hotel in stamford bridge on the night of 12th of December .

Room number 222 . although i asked for double bed ( i am travelling solo) i recieved a room with two singles . The bed was soo fucking tiny that every-time i turned i fell out of bed which made the sleep hard to come by .There was a musky smell in the room . and the room is just at the top of the parking entrance barriers , every-time a car enters or exits there is a blaring sound of alarm ( beep , bepp ,beep ) . Woke up 3 am thirsty . opened the minibar to get a bottle of water . Surprise it was empty . so i march down to reception to get a bottle of water and ask sarcastically to reception the point of having an empty fridge in the room. where he decided to stare to empty space instead of answering me .

Woke up in the morning after a pitful night of sleep . well at least i can take a shower ... naaah water only comes out luke warm..

For the price I paid for my room to have to call down and ask to be moved to another room, the blood on my daughters bed and hair all in it! The dust in the room was horrendous looked like it hadn’t been done in a week! To be moved to a new room that was even worse and had stains on the bed !!!! Worst hotel ever!!! So had to get a taxi back to Farnham at 11.30pm!!!!!
