What a fab evening we had here, yes the drinks were slow to arrive but the water wasn’t! The waitress warned us and apologised that the drinks were going to take a bit longer but it was extremely busy! The food was fabulous, nicest steak I’ve had for a very long time and not rushed which gave us a very relaxing meal.

Lovely food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Will definitely return one day.

We went there yesterday for my son's 16 birthday. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was excellent we had steaks and I had the rack of ribs which was great and very filling. The family had mocktail drinks that they enjoyed. The staff brought out a lovely chocolate cake and sang happy birthday to him. I can highly recommend this place.

We visited last Friday, my partner and I both had the lunchtime set menu. Around £13 for three courses, very reasonable. I had the calamari to start, tempura cod for main and the apple crumble tart for dessert. My partner had cheese and spinach mushrooms for starter, cheese and bacon steak burger for main and the salted caramel profiteroles for desert. All courses were delicious and the portion sizes were spot on. The service was good although could have been a little quicker but overall we would definitely return.

Our visit was for our sons 18th birthday, our waitress Tina was excellent with a great personality and couldn’t be more helpful, food excellent and we really enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend and look forward to our next visit, we’re from Gloucester and have had a bad experiences with the Quedgeley one and it put us off going to miller and carter, staff and service were so rude there it’s put me off going again which is a shame as we really enjoy the steaks on offer

I do not understand people who would moan because they have had bad experience ones out of few visits ! Everyone has their bad days even restaurants ! If people would praise rather then moan this world would be so much better ! Be happy , accept faults , enjoy your life!!!!

Lovely experience at Miller & Carter today. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and led us to our table. We did not feel rushed at all. Our waitress was very friendly and calm when having to wait for our order!



Extensive menu catering beyond steak and very tasty! The puddings were beautifully presented. Cocktail menu looked intriguing so will be back to try.



Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal with friends.

I found the food amazing best steak I have ever had! Waiter service was really fast and polite. Lucas was a very good waiter and polite, all in all amazing service and food. Will definitely be coming back. �

Great food great service. First visit to this chain we were very impressed. Tried the Thursday night Date night menu. Good choices. Love the wedge of lettuce with choice of dressing. Steak was cooked to perfection. Beef dripping sauce was the best. Will definately visit again. Cocktails to try and all the other dressings and sauces too.

Customer service on New Year's Eve was amazing. Really went out there way on a busy day after some confused booking system and being fully booked.

Still placed us in the restaurant and waitress was very helpful and had great advice.

Very impressed with the decor, the service was polite and Quick, the food was really good as well. All in all an enjoyable experience!

Good steak but waited a very long time for the food even though I ordered it blue, salad was a whole quarter chunk of a lettuce, which I found strange and would have been happy if it came with the rest of its salad friends like tomato and cucumber.

Booked here for my wife’s mother’s day meal and the service was very good , the steaks etc was perfectly cooked and we had all our sides and sauces correct so all in all a lovely day thankyou to the wonderful staff including the chefs!

A lovely meal with friends for a birthday. The waiter was very attentive and presented the birthday girl with a beautifully decorated banoffee pie dish and candle!

The food was lovely couldnt fault it, but for me it was the atmosphere. The waiter didnt smile or even say hello when we arrived. Was grumpy serving and then got my order wrong, wasnt happy with where we had been seated either. It was a birthday meal for me and spending £90 to not have good service. We wont be returning in a hurry

Nice food.. but we were still waiting for our drinks when the starters arrived! Ended up taking about 30 mins for our drinks to rock up.. Not good! The waitress did warn us about the drinks situation when we ordered, as all tables near us were also waiting ages, but come on how long does 1 cocktail & 1 pint take! I get staff issues happen, but would of thought they would have ways of dealing with it.. esp on a Saturday night!

Food was okay was not impressed with the service atall! Pepsi tasted funny waitor just stared at me like I was making it up. Told him we want different ones as didn’t taste right he then just tried to argue that the Pepsi was fine! Completely pointless! Also we booked online and then when we got there they said the online booking had put us in a section that wasn’t open! So stuck us on a table in the middle of a load of tables just squashed in.

Probably won’t be bothering again!

Firstly I'd like to say that the service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and efficient. However the food was overpriced for what it was. The steak was cooked well but everything else was average and not what I would expect for the price. The onion loaf was tasteless, the chips were bland and the lettuce wedge? I like how it said on the (uninspiring) menu that this was complimentary as if that is a nice gesture because if I paid for a chunk of lettuce chucked in a bowl with dressing on top, I'd be fuming. Won't be coming back again as you are essentially paying for the joy of eating at a branded establishment rather than quality.

Visited a few times when it first opened and could not fault.

But tonight i left feeling sick.

First they forgot to bring my side out which i didnt mind too much.

But then the steak was dry and cheewy and tasted microwaved.

They then brought me out another 20mins later which was more edible but not as nice expected and this time remembered my side which by time all this came rest of my party had finished and were ready for the Bill.

Waitress looked very over run, even though she done her best, seems they were very understaffed causing long wait times

I wont be returning.

Cant beat a nice steak but seems its hit or miss in here now.

Very disgusted with this restaurant! There are 5 of us working away and we was refused a table due to us being in work clothes! Yet we are allowed to purchase alcohol, would not recommend this place to eat
