Really nice food service was excellent as always every time my family go there the steak is always done exactly how you ask for it and their fish dishes are to die for and don't get me started on the fabulous desserts great place

New years eve spent here was perfect. Bit of a mix up with the time of booking but they were so helpful, our waiter went above and beyond. So caring, so polite. Just did everything perfect. Food was excellent. Steak like no other. Thanks so much.

Had a really lovely time celebrating 2 birthdays, one which was mine at Miller and Carter Stanmore. We pre booked the private dining room for 5pm. On arrival it appeared that their computer system had us down for a later time despite us having confirmation for 5pm. The manageress Aneta offered us drinks whilst she tried to resolved the problem. Our waitress on the evening was superb and made it a most excellent celebratory party. Thank you Joanna. Both Aneta and Joanna went above and beyond to assure we had a lovely evening and with 11 of us that could have been hard work. Really pleased overall. X

Absolutely love this place ... Love the food love the atmosphere and most of all I love the staff... I come here regularly with both my children aged 2 and 8 and we are all greeted with great big smiles and feel very welcome. staff go out their way to make our experience a great one every time

Then got home to look at menu and realised I hadn’t actually got a couple of things it was meant to come with . So I paid 15 pound for half a chicken

Shame as it was lovely possibly go again , went to the Harrow one maybe try a different restaurant next

Food was good but service was horrendous. Waiting for nearly half an hour for our waitress to come back to order dessert. Ending up asking another member of staff after 20mins who said our waitress would be with us shortly while she messed about with cutlery. They didn't have the ingredients for one of the cocktails and coffee machine was off then tried to charge us for stuff we didn't even have. Not the best experience to say the least.

Took too long to be served. When the steak came it was raw , and my children had already finished but verge time mine came back.

The resteraunt is very tired looking and the start not very attentive so I was very dissapointed

Service was very good, room was excellent. Unfortunately the steaks weren't as good as previous visits. We have eaten at Miller and Carters several times before and the food has always been excellent but on this occasion all the steaks except for 1 were chewy and had large veins of fat running through them. Their were 10 in our party and 6 of us ordered steaks. Mine personally was bland with not much flavour and very tough & chewy. Shame really because we were celebrating my daughters 16th birthday. The rest of the meal ie starters and pudding were very good.

I usually go to the Rickmansworth restaurant, went to the Harrow one for the first time yesterday. We were seated fast, then waited about 10-15 minutes for our waitress to come over to take our drinks as someone had apparently walked out without paying.. we ordered our food at the same time. We wanted the tomahawk- these were not available at 7pm, I asked for another steak, still not available so had a standard rump. I asked for no butter on mine as I have a dairy allergy.. the food came, with butter on it. I made do and scraped it off although it still effects me.. the food was tasty, that was the only good thing about it. Would have preferred the tomahawk, wouldn’t expect those to be out of stock by 7pm?!

I won’t go back to the Harrow branch, may give Rickmansworth another try.

Toilets were disgusting, splashes up the walls by the toilet can only assume bodily fluids of some sort.. taps were filthy.. 2 spit lights were flashing manicly. Thorough clean needed.

First visit and to be honest the cost is to high compared to what you get . I have had s better meal at harvester and half the price. Wasn’t really impressed with the half of lettuce would have rather had s nice tossed salad. The chips were nice but stains but on the small side. Service was quite slow and we order a bread starter and the bread was stale !!! Butter was like cheese which wasn’t nice , overall don’t think I would visit again to pricey for what u get

Avoid on a Saturday night. Service was appalling. Not the waiters fault, but the kitchen was very slow sending out food. Waitress dropped five meals on the floor by my feet and took ages to actually come back and clear it up. A couple of cancelled dishes too, say no more

We went here for my daughters 18th birthday, we had to wait 40 mins before drinks arrived in dirty glasses! When we challenged the waiter, he was cocky but thought he was funny! Place was dirty, the toilets were absolutely filthy and this was allegedly a 5* restaurant! Well I'm sorry Miller and Carter but I won't be coming back ever! �

I have been to Miller and Carter in Harrow and quite enjoyed it.



I live in Edgware and noticed they had opened at Sterling Corner (a place I have seen umpteen restaurants open and close over the years)



I checked the menu with my wife and seven year old son online as we were out and about and decided to get a late lunch / early dinner at about 4pm.



We walked into the almost empty restaurant and were greeted with a ‘hold on a minute’ as the Maitre D ,I will call him, looked my wife, myself and my 7 year old up and down and then said - ‘sorry we have a dress code’ and turned us away. I was in nice blue jeans, nice shoes and an American Eagle sweatshirt with a hood, my wife was in grey trousers, and a long leather Parker (bit chilly) and my 7 year old in a black top with black tracksuits bottoms (not dirty).



Nowhere on their website or marketing does it refer to a dress code.



How he decided we were not smart enough for his empty establishment I do not understand. Made to feel like scum, I have never been so disappointed.



I phoned the manger while eating in a nicer restaurant to complain (was too shocked at the time) and was told that there was a dress code and a little plaque somewhere and that’s what they’ve been told to do.



I could have travelled some distance to go there with no prior warning was turned away

and made to feel like scum !!!



AND then watched 4 scruffily dressed people chuck their cigarettes on the grass and walk in. Can only assume they were the chefs (I joke)



If you think that treating paying customers from a nice family by turning them away will make you successful, you are mistaken.



I am still shocked and saddened at the treatment and embarrassed for my wife and child.



You will not survive very long treating customers that way. It is not a nightclub and it was 4pm in the afternoon.



Use discretion - seat us somewhere quiet (empty) and mention it for next time.

Service was ok. Waitress was nice and friendly and we tipped her despite the rest of the meal. We came here 2 years ago and the food was amazing. This time round the food was not good. Ordered scallops to start with a tomato salsa. They were tough and did not melt in the mouth very chewy and dry. They were served with chopped tomatoes and cubes of potato. Not a salsa 😂. Steak was ok. Not a £20 grain fed ribeye by any means but the best bit of the meal by far. The fries were tasteless and the they literally just chopped a head of lettuce in half and put some mayo and bacon bits on as the salad. Seriously? Coffee machine was broken so they offered me an instant coffee. I'm a plumber so drunk some pretty ropey coffees most days but I couldn't drink this one. My wife's cheddar was sweating and had mould on (not the right kind, the left too long kind). We asked for a jug of cold water to cool our baby's bottle down in. It never came. Desert average. All round the bill was £90 for two. Worth about £20 at best. Pretty dire experience to be honest. Wish we had gone to middletons.

Really gone downhill, the portion sizes are tiny compared to the last time I went plus food was cold. I will never be going back. If your going readjust yours sizes then you should readjust your prices. Awful just awful
