Went tonight for date night. Food was perfect couldnt fault it at all! Cocktails were lovely! To top it off our waitress (think her name was Angie) was absolutely brilliant such a great laugh and generally seemed very happy to be there!

Took my husband there for the 1st time today for his birthday, what an amazing experience the restaurant was spotless and the food and service was the best I had ever had in any restaurant. Angie and Gail have the best customer service and people skills and are a complete assist to the Miller and Carter company. They made us feel so welcomed and my husband had a great day. Spent are 11 year anniversary on the 12th April. Friend flopped but waiter was so funny who needed a friend!! Chateau was amazing even thow we asked we got it well done � (I’m a steak virgin �) all round was a good night!! Best part was service from waiter he was so lovely and made us feel so relaxed which resulted in an amazing evening! Thanks dude

Myself and my husband went for his b day lunch yesterday at 3pm and the lady zoe who dealt with our food and drink orders was amazing! She was so friendly and was able to help me choose what steak to go for as I dnt eat steak often and it was clear she knew what she was talking about! She couldn't be more helpful :-) although what I was not Impressed with is the man that "greeted" us when we came through the door and mentioned what time we had a table booked for. He was miserable didn't crack a smile

And not very welcoming at all which is a shame as the rest of our time there was great!

My husband and I eat often with you and New Year's day we came with my Daughter and Son in law. We all enjoyed the lovely friendliness of the efficient staff. I went to Miller and Carter Steakhouse for my birthday meal with 9 family members. Staff were very welcoming. We were quickly shown to our table. Food was excellent. Courses came with adequate interval inbetween. We all had a very pleasant evening and will definitely be going back in the near future.

Amazing food. Been twice now. Had hunters chicken first time as not a big steak eater but boyfriend was so tried this place out. It was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Tried some of his steak and was so impressed. We came back again and this time I chose steak and was happy I did it was really nice. Would recommend and will definitely be returning again.

Went with friends, we all had steak and although mine was slightly on the rare side they were all extremely good, we will be back.

Went for a celebratory meal with my wife and wasn’t disappointed. We were seated straight away even though we were early and our drinks order was taken promptly.



The starters came quite quickly but there was a bit of a wait for the steaks. When the steaks arrived they were excellent and cooked to perfection.



There was a bit of a mix up with the bill as we had ordered from a set menu but our waitress rectified this when she noticed. My only complaint was that the card machine had sticky buttons.

Food was good. Love the beef dripping butter (I assume bone marrow?) Still don't understand the point of the half lettuce (palate cleanser?) I'd rather have a sorbet!

The steaks are great but the waiting staff are not very friendly. We asked for a beer n a cocktail before dinner and a glass of wine with our meal. The meal and all the drinks arrived together...oh dear! We tried to make conversation with our waiter, but he was clearly not interested. He knocked into my chair quite hard and didn't even make an attempt to apologise. So we did not leave a tip, as we normally do wherever we go. That kinda goes against the grain. In fairness it was a very busy. Saturday night but they need more waiting staff!

The meal was ok but the waiter I thought was a tad rude. He caught my daughter's arm with her dirty plate and didn't apologise and then spilt drink on her lettuce and when she said don't worry I'm not going to eat any more he said why did you order it then.

Think he may need a bit of customer care training

Heard how wonderful this place is was disappointed.starter and dessert was ok.The steak was so thin and chewy served with a few chips tiny bit tomotoe and lettuce in a bowl which i found rather odd.Its pricey for what it is.

We recently had a meal and the food was great but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy it as it was unbearably hot in there. It was such a shame as spoilt our night out. I would avoid whilst the heatwave continues.

Out of the five starters that we ordered three were sent back because they were cold and stale. Ordered just one replacement which we were charged for, surprisingly.



Mains were okay but nothing special and had very obviously been under the heat lamp for longer than desirable drying them out.



Didn’t bother with deserts.



Food was marginally better than a budget Steakhouse and service was certainly no better. Have had much better meals and experiences for a lot less money.

I recently booked a table for my partner's 50th birthday with friends. We couldn't get our 1st or 2nd choice of steak! This is surprising as it is 'A steak restaurant '. I emailed the customer service team at the restaurant the next day. This is the reply!

Firstly please let me thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding your visit to us on Saturday evening. I am really sorry to hear that you have been left feeling disappointed following your time with us. Please let me assure you that all feedback is taken very seriously and where possible used to improve our guests experience.



Please accept my sincere apology that we did not have two of the steaks available that you would have liked to order. I understand that this is extremely frustrating and not what you would expect from a steakhouse such as Miller & Carter. In regards to our T-Bone steaks, we find ourselves in a battle with there being no consistency with how many we sell week by week, this has also been the same in the two other Miller & Carter sites I have previously worked in. Some weeks we may well a lot of T-Bones and other weeks we may hardly sell any at all. As a business we have the struggle of finding the balance between having too much or not enough and unfortunately there is no pattern for us to follow. We do our best to make sure we do have these items available but sometimes we may sell more than anticipated. This will be the same with the other cut of meat, sometimes we do sell more than expected of certain items depending what our guests decide upon ordering at the time.



Unfortunately it is not our standard practice to offer something complimentary in a situation such as this. However if you were unhappy on the evening myself or my assistant manager would have been more than happy to speak to you regarding the situation and rectify it for you there and then had you of alerted us to your disappointment.



I hope you can understand to some extent why this has happened and know that we do our best to make sure we have all food items are available however we were unable to make this happen at the time of your visit.

I do hope you return to Miller & Carter and see this is not the usual standard we aim for

We are a family of 4 and have just walked out of your restaurant as you no longer do gluten free fries. My teenager daughter is coeliac and has to stick to a gluten free diet, she is now in tears as you can no longer accommodate her needs! We used to eat at your restaurant on a regular basis, not anymore. Not impressed!‬
