What an incredible experience. We booked three days beforehand for 7:15. And true to their word, the table was ready for us at that precise time. Our waitress came and asked us what we wanted and after we had explain to her what we wanted. After a short wait, which I am sure was due to the cooking time. The food came to our table when it was ready. We ate every thing that was on our plates and then paid the bill. Afterwards we came home and I sorted my Wfe out! A thoroughly enjoyable experience. So much so we did it again.

Went last night as a group of four.

We were seated quickly when our waitress arrived. She was brilliant made us all laugh and added to the great night we had.

All the food was hot and tasted great.

We then ended up almost going through the cocktail list.

Think we were the last to leave.

Jane had us laughing and tormented my husband much to our amusement, as he did deserve it.

Would recommend for a special occasion.

We visited yesterday I had medium rare rib eye, it was perfect. my brother in law & sister in law both had Fillet steak, absolutely spot on. My wife had the sea bass which again was excellent. We had a free glass of Prosecco each (birthday). Our waiter was David. very attentive and chatty, made us feel really welcome. Great atmosphere, great food I would recommend it to anyone

We had a fabulous waitress today! Her name was Beth, she went above and beyond this afternoon to see we had an enjoyable experience! We had my 19 month old daughter with us and at times she was a little ‚Äėdiva‚Äô however Beth was so sweet and engaged with her to calm her down. Our meal was beautiful and we most defiantly be returning again!

Was at Miller &Carter Saturday evening with family, our waiter was Dave Rignall the service he gave us was second to none, nothing was too much trouble,he was politeness it's self,the resturant was very busy,but like i said service was 100%,the food was wonderfully cooked to our liking,hot food on hot plates :)plus they can make a decent cup of tea :) I would highly recommend eating here,and will be coming back again,thanks to staff especially Dave ( aka Peter Andre/Jennifer) for tip top evening ....

Visited Tuesday 22nd May and served by a very lovely lady called Amy. Super bubbly, did more than just taking your order, had a bit of banter with us all, made the effort to chat to my 4 month old and get smiles out of him and just generally great at her job. Everything arrived promptly, hot, and cooked perfectly. The set lunch menu prices are also a big plus point! Never had a bad meal here and would certainly recommend a visit!

Our steak was quite fatty so we sent it back and had a different steak delivered really quickly afterwards which was beautiful. Rowan the waitress was so accommodating and really apologetic not that it was her fault or anybodys fault to be honest but Rowan was absolutely fabulous and so helpful. She deserves a medal.

My husband and I visited last night. We arrived early to have a cocktail in the bar before our meal. The lady that served us was fantastic, she was so friendly and made the most delicious cocktails. She wrote the recipe down for one of them as my husband enjoyed it so much. She was also lovely when I accidently spilt his pint and replaced it for free. We then went through to the restaurant, our table was ready and again the waiter David that served us was fab. The food was delicious and came out exactly as we ordered. We had such an amazing night and I would highly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed the best steak we have ever eaten at a restaurant ever! Well we didn’t just have steak, we had scallops, calamari, half a lobster, desserts and a few cocktails! And every single part of it was spot on! Thank you to our waiter David who took excellent care of us all evening. We cannot wait to come back again!

Lovely atmosphere and food. Our table was booked for 7 and we was seated well before 7. Food and drinks arrived fast and the experience was made even better by our lovely waitress Jane who had a smile on her face from the moment we sat down. Cant wait to come back!

Love this Miller & Carter! Gluten free menu is amazing and I can have the chips here too. The service is spot on, really friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, will be going here often ‚ėļÔłŹ

Jamie behind the bar is fantastic. We come in most Sunday evenings and she remembers what we drinks, always serves with a smile and asks about what we have talked to her about previously. She came outside while we were drinking and recommended some cocktails and brought our drinks out to us. Assets to the team. Well done to her!!!

Had absolutely wonderful service from Beth on Saturday night. Food was great but the service made the whole night! Beth even went as far as to write congratulations in chocolate sauce on my dessert because she knew we were celebrating. Thank you Beth!

Garlic prawns to die for and the lamb was amazing staff very good and ambience of the restaurant great very enjoyable evening,the waitress that served us was very good and didn't keep us waiting. Don't forget to ask to ring the bell it complements the chefs !

Visited the steak house in Redditch formerly The Washford Mill . I was with my partner Laura and my mum . We had great service by our waitress Abi and our meal was faultless . Our overall experience was very pleasant. I will definitely visit again when back in Redditch. Thank you

Steak yesterday was tough. Potato looked dead and undercook. Will they ever understand a jacket potato should have a slightly crispy skin ! Quality seems to drop every time. About time that stupid lettuce wedge got binned and was replaced with a side salad and at least some peas on the plate.

Attended for my sister in law's bday meal. Her and her partner have been numerous times with no issue so she decided this was the place to celebrate her birthday.



The place itself is beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly.



The service however was very poor. 6 of us attended 3 with ribeye, one fillet, one cod and one chicken. The first issue was instead of the fillet they gave a sirloin, they then advised it would be a 10 minute wait for the correct steak to come out. 2 ribeye were medium and one well done, they advised which were which identified by the 3 different sauces and gave the everyone what they thought were the correct steak unfortunately they mixed up the medium and well done steak so when they started to eat and realised what had happened. The steaks were then taken away to be corrected however at that point they came back to advise there were no 16oz ribeye steak left so the only option was now a 12oz. As this was the only option they agreed. At this point the fillet came out correct but the other 2 were now to wait. They did however give a free Mac n cheese whilst waiting for the food!



When they did turn up, they made the exact same mistake with the wrong one given to the wrong person, luckily this time it was noticed so was remedied straight away! They even had the wrong sauce for each steak again so it was either the servers mistake when we ordered noting the incorrect order or the chef making the mistake, however with it happenning 2 times I imagine it happened on ordering as the waitress seemed confused and flustered.



The 3rd ribeye was more fat than meat as pictured and the cod was dripping with grease. All in all a bad experience and we will not be coming back!



We were honoured a discount for the inconvenience however half the family finished before the others started. For the money you pay you really do expect a better experience.

We popped to the Washford for the first time in ages this afternoon. We went into the little bar at the bottom and waited and waited and waited to be served. No-one showed up to serve us, so after about five minutes we left, and won't bother coming back. If the bar's meant to be closed (there were no customers in the area either), then lock the door.



We used to quite like popping to the Washford. Shame.

Inedible steak, extremely undercooked. Sent back. Still undercooked. Fatty and chunks of grizzle. After receiving my steak for the second time poured my sauce all over (as you do) ment to be peppercorn and was mushroom. I hate mushrooms. Told manager my meal was inedible and was still charged. Upon leaving waitress apologised and then said ‚Äėit‚Äôs one of those things en it!‚Äô Sums up our experience really.

Wanted to go over to Solihull but thought we’d give it a go... after all we live in Redditch. Never ever again. Do not waste your time or money.
