User

We just left Miller and Carter mitcham. We had a table booked for 5 o’clock and left around 7. From the minute we entered the restaurant until the time we left it was excellent. Great service very polite and helpful staff amazing food and great atmosphere. Thank you

User

Took the mrs out for a cheeky anniversary steak. Well priced, well cooked and portions are plentiful. Went for the Filet steak was amazing! Highly recommend to any steak enthusiast.

Will definitely visit again!

User

The restaurants decor and food is really nice. The customer service is on We was served by Laura, she was polite and friendly.

If you are looking to have a steak dish there I recommend the ribeye. It was juicy and tasty ďż˝

User

Second time visited the place, recomended by friends... This is One of the most stylish restaurant itself, posh and classy. They have a big nombers of wines, white and red and also a massive collections of Prosecco. The stuff, waiters and watresses are more then friendly and smiling.

Big portions, a bit pricey but worth it.

We had the stakes came exactly the way we wanted. So we were more then happy and planning to go back.

5 stars.

User

My friends and I had a wonderful night with the best steaks the whole meal was on point. I really want to send alot of praise to our waiter Ross G he made our night even better best service I have had in a long time. Continue the good work Ross your work really makes the night all that better!! Management I hope you see this.

User

If you like steak then you won’t be disappointed, I had the 16oz Ribeye-medium and it was delicious 👍

User

Excellent customer service from our waiter Ross. A fab evening was had. Our steaks were on point.

User

Every time we have been to M&C Mitcham we have always been treated courtesly, the service was Good and the food was amazing, I wouldn't have steak anywhere else now and would definately recommend here for a good meal in a great location...Well done all

User

Came here last Thursday with my partner . First time I’d been . It was lovely and the staff were great too, especially the lady who served us at our table . Food was lovely and very reasonably priced

User

Very disappointed since our first visit, steaks first time were spot on, we returned last Saturday for a very disappointing steak that was well done as a pose to medium (pink) we asked for,the server was very good and didn’t charge us for the desert, but steak was what we came for, we have reserved a table for 5 xmas eve 🙏 hopefully it’s better or we won’t be visiting again.

User

I come here for the steaks on special occasions so being treated by my lads for Fathers Day I decided to ask for the Black Angus 50 day aged Sirlion. Unfortunately they didn’t have any so a bit disappointed but opted for the 12oz Ribeye medium rare. This was fantastic with the porcine mushroom sauce. I had received an email during the week advising they there was £10 off premium wines so I decided to enquire from the table server what wines were in the offer, she didn’t know nor knew about the offer. I showed her the offer but she had to call her manager who also struggled to find out what lines were in the offer. The manager went off to find out and came back some 5-8 mins later to inform me that only 3 wines were in the offer.

I really do think that if you are advertising via email offers that are available that your staff are fully versed with these offers and highlight them when orders are being taken. Better still where was a flyer on the table/menu cards. I’m guessing you missed out on orders here! Could have been a bit more generous with the number of wines in the offer.

On the whole we enjoyed our meals, the good was good quality and the table server was attentive & polite. Would have been 5* but for those couple of issues.

User

Went with my partner last night

The waitress we hd Gemma was lovely and her friend

The starter click n duck was tasty and my dessert was spot on choco ice cream with a cookie

The fillet I ordered was suppose to be medium rare I asked they young man to cook it a little more but I feel they just quickly put it on grill got new chips which was nice

Overall the restaurant it’s self is lovely just a shame about the steak but I would definitely come back again

User

I took my fiancĂŠe for her birthday. The food was delicious. However, I wanted a T- bone steak and was disappointed they had run out, so my 2nd choice 16oz ribeye was also not on the menu. Maybe, when booking next time, I should request they save a T- bone steak for me

User

Booked online, easy process. For our main we decided to try the Tomahawk steak, which we found to be a bit tough and chewy, rather than tender as good steak should be. The rest of the food was very good, we would probably go back but wouldn’t order Tomahawk again. So a little disappointing for a “steakhouse”.

User

I don't think me on my work colleagues we'll be coming back here in a hurry, the room that we was in was freezing and we had to keep asking for our drinks and the chips came 10 minutes after we had the steak and most people were already half way through it, I could possibly understand if it was a busy night which it wasn't,the food was ok the service was poor

User

Very rude . My wife and I was having a reunion with an old friend and his wife on st Patrick's day. Table was booked and we arrived early so we ordered a drink at the bar and chatted.one of the staff heard one of the girls say she felt unsteady on her feet (due to her high heels) and mentioned to my friend that he should keep an eye on her as she is tipsy . We laughed and thought how funny it was that the member of staff thinks my friend was drunk.

Our table was ready so we sat and ordered. A fair bit of an order too.

The starters came out and were lovely but upon ordering another drink we was told we could not have any more alcohol until we had eaten.

I spoke to the manager and explained why the lady was unsteady and he wasn't interested.

We paid for what we had eaten and left.

To late to get a table anywhere else so we went burger king.

User

I have been coming to miller and carter in mitcham since it replaced Harvester. And my whole family have really enjoyed the vibe and the food. My partner and i would come for dinner or just a casual lunch quite often. After running a few errands today (Sunday) we thought we would go to millers for lunch. We were dressed in our casual attire which was never an issue before and for goodness sake it was 12.30pm on a Sunday afternoon - who has a dress code for that? Well we got to the front desk and we were looked at and treated like total ‘riff raff’ and turned away because i was in adidas leggings and my partner in a converse tracksuit. I have never felt so disrespected by a restaurant before. And the attitude that was given by both members of staff was appalling. I understand restaurants have policies that the general public abide by, however considering this isn’t a central london location and considering it was an off-peak time of day, i feel this was totally uncalled for. I think that the policy for a dress code in a Mitcham restaurant, owned by Harvester should realise that their clientele aren’t going to get suited and booted for this style of restaurant. I strongly recommend this dress code be reviewed and might i suggest that it only applies during peak hours if they really feel the need to do so. Unfortunately after today’s experience i cant promise i will ever set foot in Millers again which is such a shame because my family and i really enjoyed it. But i refuse to be treated like and looked at like we are not good enough for this establishment. We have given Millers an obscene amount of money with special occasions or just a last minute casual lunch, and i feel as if they are now not supporting the local people and relying on a type of clientele that you will only find in places like STK. Don’t get me wrong, if we have a date night or special occasion of course we dress up, thats not an issue. However just wanting to walk in to our local steakhouse on the off chance should also be respected and no one should be looked at as “not good enough” just because of their attire. I thought that Millers were family friendly and looked after locals, however after today i have completely lost all confidence in this.
