We come here all the time, food always perfect and leaves you full. All the waiting on staff are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond especially Daniel he's the best waiter in there.

We celebrated my partners 40th birthday here in the private dining area last night & I cannot thank the staff more.

Nothing was too much trouble & it felt like a 5 star service from start to finish. From making the booking, decorating the room & waiting on so attentively, it all felt seamless.

The food was absolutely delicious & there wasn't one of us that had cause for complaint, from meat lovers to vegetarians alike.

I fully recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning here!

Not the first time we’ve been here(!) and as ever we had a fabulous meal. On a very hot night it was so chilled in there with the air con, very comfortable. The terrace was very busy with people sitting in the sun but there were a lot of smokers so we chose not to. Now the food: after a couple of ice cold Peronis we shared a garlic bread then ordered a 16 oz ribeye and the uptown peppercorn burger which were both delicious. Would definitely have the burger again, it’s really unusual but fab!!

Me and my family had a wonderfull celebration meal for my grandsons 30th Birthday ..

The waitress was efficient and helpful ..The food was so enjoyable..

Definitely recommend booking the private room for a family celebration ..

Lovely 3 course valentines meal every course was delicious, service was well paced and staff are really friendly and helpful. Lovely cocktails and excellent ambience and setting. I would highly recommend.

Just called in on the off change we would get a table and we did. The waitress when asked gave us the best choice on the menu and we both went for the ribeye steak with chips and side salad and sauce off your choice the meal was excellent steak was cooked just right and the service we got was great. Will definitely be going back great place to eat

Had a great night. Food was excellent. Lobster tails and prawns gorgeous. Steak the best and I love the lettuce wedge Rounded off with a nice dessert Service was excellent. Highly recommend a visit

Had a family meal out lovely setting , fabulous food, best fillet steak I’ve tasted , lovely staff and added bonus do cocktails .

Great food great staff and speedy service, and made a fuss of the wife during her birthday celebration with a happy birthday cake. Thanks guys

Food was nice ..loved the scallops ..will definitely be going back nice place nice atmosphere..what’s not to like..Amy looked after us very well.all the staff was very friendly.

Decided to have our family graduation celebrations here so convenient after the Edge Hill University ceremonies.

Celebrated my sons 18th birthday there last night in the private room. The food was excellent, staff were really helpful and professional and my son enjoyed his night thoroughly. Would definitely recommend.

Can't thank you all enough for making my dad's 80th birthday a special and memorable day

As a steak lover, but being exceedingly fussy.. I can Honestly say, the Bistro Rump, was the nicest steak I’ve ever had!

Another awesome meal at Miller and Carter. Brilliant server called Dan, everything right. Just the right amount of attention without being too much. Really knew his stuff too. Makes all the difference to an experience, will definitely come back! Thanks Dan!

The food tasted lovely but the starters were cold and had been left on the counter in sight of us for some time. The manager offered us free desserts as compensation which was good. We ate from the fixed price lunch menu and it was tasty and reasonabky priced but the service was extremely slow ( not the fault of the only waitress on duty as she had to serve all tables) which explained the cold starters. We would go again when we had more time to wait for the food.

We usually love it here but tonight was a big let down. First our table wasnt ready even though we had booked it so we had to wait 15 mins in the bar. Then Our steaks weren't cooked to how we asked (medium to well was dripping with blood) - 3 times we had to send food back to the kitchen. We had our 2 children with us so it meant us having to start our meal so it didn't go cold while our children had nothing. A 10oz sirloin some became about a 5oz steak by the time we cut the fat off. And that cost £25 alone �

Also after leaving we also realised we had been charged for something we didn't order. Not impressed tonight �
