Would like to say a huge thank you to Miller and Carter Bath and all the staff on duty Thursday afternoon for my son's leavers day meal. 12 sixteen yr olds decended on you and everything was perfect drinks were prompt food was amazing as far as I've been told and you dealt with my son's peanut allergy professionally and quietly which he really appreciated I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for your great service

Myself and my family had a meal there yesterday, and I have to say it was delicious, steak we both had was cooked to perfection and my 2 girls said it was the best beef burgers they have ever had

Friendly welcome on arrival , the food was delicious and absolutely worth every penny. The waitress who looked after us went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable evening. I can’t wait to go back 10/10 impossible to fault

First time here for my nephew’s 18th Birthday... Great service, Amazing food! And were happy to hide the cake and bring it out after our meal... The waiter we had for the night was very friendly and polite... Thank you 😊

First time at Millers, had the 3 course for £24.95 xmas menu, had to have a steak , the fillet with a £ 9 supplement, well worth it, cooked perfectly, loved every course, only problem was cold coffee at the end, mentioned this and it was taken off the bill, friendly staff, lovely decor, would go back

Fabulous food ,helpful staff who looked after us well and ensured our son enjoyed his 21st birthday but decorating our table and bringing out birthday cake ,thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely meal and staff were friendly and attentive. The only thing was the toilets were unpleasant and the carpet in the restaurant looked liked it hadn’t been hoovered for quite a while.

Went for the set lunch menu, having been told the food is the same as the main menu. Our burger was lovely... just appeared to be missing the coleslaw promised on the menu. Given the other review comments I read, chose not to say anything for fear my fries would be missing instead on its return! Having said that, our waiter, Steve, was friendly.

We went here with high expectations due to the higher than average prices that they charge but was disappointed. The place looked very tired. The walls were dirty and in need of painting and pillars chipped in places. There was leftover food on the floor that hadn't been cleared up and screaming children there. While I'm not adverse to children in restaurants as I took mine out when they were little, at least make an effort to quiten them a bit.

Because of this, we decided to skip the expensive shared steak for 2 and just went for the set meal. Ordered the side of onion loaf!! A soggy mess is the best way to describe it. Couldn't fault our server at all. Very professional and helpful. It's a shame the experience wasn't better as we were looking forward to it. We'll give it a second chance so hope it lives up to the hype!!

Came here last night for our anniversary. We ordered a tasting platter to start and two steak mains with a bottle of wine. Our starters came within 5-10 minutes of ordering and we were still waiting for our bottle of wine to arrive. We had to ask a server to chase our wine. No sooner after finishing our starter platter within 30 seconds of our plates being cleared our steaks arrived. We sent them back and asked to see the front of house manager. She was very understanding and it’s how the whole system works and you have a set time to eat your starter which I find ridiculous. We took 10 minutes to eat our platter. Even though the steak was really nice and cooked to our liking we felt that the whole experience was rushed and felt that they want people in and out very quickly. unfortunately we won’t be returning.

We arrived & asked about catering for Coeliacs & we were handed a GF Menu & a smile with “of course no problem” Husband ordered his steak & jacket potato with sauce (crushed peppercorn sauce) All from the GF Menu .. waitress came back a while after ordering to let us know that both sauces he chose were a “may contain, as processed in factory that uses gluten” He refused both sauces.. he did thoroughly enjoyed his £20 steak. Within 20 mins of leaving he was very poorly and so either something ELSE on their GF menu was not GF again or there may have been cross contamination either way he ended up very ill ��

Service was fine. Steak wasn't cooked as requested, let the server know and all that was offered was a new steak to be brought out. After waiting for so long for the first one I wasn't prepared to wait any longer. No compensation offered. There was also no dressing on my side order - really shabby. Expected a lot more for the price I had to pay. Very disappointed.

Our first time at Miller & Carter a really disappointing evening, as my steak was not cooked as requested. After letting the server know when he enquired if all was ok, he arranged for another steak to be cooked by the time it had arrived my wife had finished her meal.

Unfortunately the second steak was no better than the first infact I asked them to put it in a container to bring home for the dogs.

They took the steak off of our bill, but I would have preferred that the steak was cooked as asked in the first place and that we had enjoyed our meal and evening out.

Living in mid Wales we travelled to Bath for my birthday weekend. The miller and carter in Hereford is great so thought we would book to go whilst in bath. For starters when I tried to book for a group of 12 of us the man on the phone was not helpful, I was told I needed to book 2-3 weeks in advance. I rang about 10 days before. We could not book for 12, so I asked for 2 tables of 6, I couldn't do that either. I then booked two separate tables online. Our meal was 8pm and as we were about to leave the hotel at 7.45 head office in Birmingham rang to say either there was a gas leak or ran out of gas we could not have our meal. This is very poor! How can you not know you need gas? And if there's a gas leak why were people still sat in the restaurant when we walked past. We were all very disappointed and annoyed! We expected to have a voucher or something as apology?!?!

Had a table booked 2 months in advance for my sister's graduation day for a lovely family meal afterwards.



We arrive to slow service even though your restaurant is quiet and when we are asked for our order we are told you have run out of 8oz sirloin, 8oz bistro rump and 12oz rump.



Dissapointed we all ordered 8oz rump to then be told they had ran out of that as well as soon as we placed our order.



We didn't fancy paying £24 for a steak we wouldn't normally choose and we don't have the acquired taste for rib eye.



We were told on a wednesday night that you had run out if steak because you had a busy weekend...



We are absolutely disgusted that we have booked a table in advance to come to a steak house to find we cannot order steak!

We have now been left to walk around bath and find somewhere with space for 6 people at short notice when other restaurants are busy with graduation families.



We have previously been regular customers, feel extremely let down and we will not be returning.

First experience at a Miller and carter and was not impressed at all, waited far to long for our drinks! The food arrived and looked ok although they'd forgot to put the coleslaw with our sons ribs, me and partner both had a rib eye which was just about warm, we sent this back with no problem but then our son was left to eat on his own while we waited on our meals. When our new meals did turn our son had finished his so the family treat out was pretty much spoilt. The tomato was meant to be done with a balsamic glaze, it wasn't! I was really surprised that the steaks we recieved wasn't of a better quality for the money and all in all I'd not rate our experience of Miller and carter a good one, if you're going to charge these prices I suggest you make sure you don't serve up sub standard food!!! We did make it known to the staff we weren't happy with our food and experience and they apologised but this doesn't make up for such a bad experience...

Disgraceful! Went last night for my mothers birthday and the the food was extremely poor, all of our meals came out cold, once re cooked came back missing different parts to the meal like chips! This is after waiting 2 hours to get our mains. The waitiness was extremely nice and apologetic but poor disgraceful management, the manageress was aware of the issue and did not come over to apologise once! About 7 different tables had issues with their food and things were going back to the kitchen left right and centre! Not a good evening at all.
