Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. It was for a family birthday and we were a party of 11 ranging in age from 4 to 84. Cannot fault the restaurant at all. The service was second to non. The food was excellent, in fact my partner hasn’t stopped raving about his burger and I quote “the best burger I have ever eaten “ and he likes his burgers. All the food was cooked to perfection and all meals were served together with no waiting, and were all piping hot. The staff were attentive but not overbearing and was good value for money. Thank you Miller & Carter for a fantastic afternoon and making my dads 84th celebrations a day to remember. This certainly won’t be my last visit. I have already looked for my nearest restaurant as I live in Derby and plan to visit soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Mother's Day meal. The fish was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It was also great to have vegetables which weren't al dente. The crème brulė was the best I've tasted - proper cream and NOT egg custard! My son enjoyed his steak and chocolate brownie too. We'll be back!

I forgot to say that the staff were both charming and obliging - extra sauces provided promptly and not long to wait between courses.

One of our favourite locals - we usually share the chateaubriand, which is delicious & always cooked to perfection, & their red wines are always excellent too. We also love the accompanying lettuce wedges & onion loaf. In all the times we've been (must be over a dozen now) we've only ever had slow service once & that was a Saturday night when we had to wait over half an hour for our reserved table. We had a drink at the bar while we waited & once we were seated the service was good.

To the service of the lovely “cockney-Portuguese”waitress lol who made me laugh � ( by the way my mushrooms were done perfectly I really enjoyed them)

What a fantastic chef you have as our steak was excellent everything about the whole time we spent with you was�% even to the timing of each order we ordered (we had a 3 course) was perfect timing

I will recommend you to everyone

Excellent food and service. Came today for 1st time party of 11 including 4 year old. Waitress was excellent my 4 year old was asking for his main and she kindly got it done quicker for him. No long wait for service or food. Everyone's food was cooked to perfection would def recommend and will be a returning customer

Came here for the first time tonight for my 40th birthday meal and can honestly say it's the best food I have ever tasted! absolutely exquisite, the staff were lovely and even put candles in my pudding which was such a thoughtful touch, would highly recommend and we will be back xx

A five rating great great food an happy fast attentive service, will go back again just for the British Beef Dipping sauce, its pure heaven with a steak on a plate

Went for Anniversary lunch Sunday 4th March.

Everything was perfect , the service was attentive , the food was beyond delicious ( most definitely compliments to the Chef ! )

My only very minor little niggle was the air con . Personally I don’t think it needed to be on and as it was blowing directly down onto my lunch my food went cold very quickly.

Would highly recommend a visit and I will certainly return ( minus the air con )

Took my mum for her birthday. Had a drink spilt over us, waited long times for warm food, had to chase up forgotten drinks and starters and wasn’t served one side dish at all!! Food is lovely however would be better if served hot!
