We went for a meal on Mother's day. It was excellent. The service was attentive and nothing too much trouble. Jo was our waiter and he looked after us very well.the steaks were cooked as we wanted them. They were served with separate sauce, a wedge of beautiful crisp well dressed lettuce and crispy French fries. The Shiraz went down a treat after a complimentary prosecco. The crème Brulee was to die for!!

We eat at Miller & Carter every week. We had lunch there on Father's Day. The restaurant was extremely busy but this in no way effected the excellent service. All the staff worked effectively as a team and the food arrived quickly. We had chosen the Black Angus steak. This is one of the best steaks we have eaten in a long time. It was tender, juicy and the over all taste was something we will remember for along time. Well done everyone!

The eye is in the detail, beginning with a warm welcome at the desk, friendly helpful staff giving service with a smile. I have now enjoyed seven main courses, each dish, beautifully presented with delicious and unique flavoursome sauces for both fish and meat. The amazing Chef also produces delicious steaks cooked to perfection.

My husband and I came for a meal last night to celebrate my birthday. It was amazing. The decor was great, very sophisticated.The staff were so polite and knowledgable. Holly was our waitress and she was attentive, informative and always had a smile.

The food was Devine, I highly recommend the Ribeye steak and the lobster. Everything was cooked as we had asked, and all came out in a reasonable time. The cocktail menu is seriously tasty, I worked my way through a handful and can’t wait to come back to try more. We had an awesome night and can’t wait to return. There is nothing like this restaurant close to grantham. Your doing an amazing job guys, keep it up.

Just had our 1st meal here and it was amazing! Atmosphere was nice and the waitress Charlotte was lovely and made sure we was happy with everything. We will definitely be back and highly recommended to everyone! Thank you x

Food was perfect, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Visited on the way home after a day driving with an 8 week old. Staff were very accommodating and even offered to hold my child when he woke up so we could eat. Would visit again when back that way x

First visit to this steak house chain very impressed. Drinks a little expensive but my wife's cocktail was delicious and the young cocktail mixologist was very knowledgeable. Table waiting staff very approachable and pleasant and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended

Best in Class in Grantham by a long way. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food top class and excellent choice of wines etc. A massive improvement on previous attempts to make this location work. It now works and works well. Ok, a little pricey but worth every penny in my view.

Absolutely spot on. Was not expecting the experience we had (hence being a little under dressed) food was amazing, service was top class. Gemma knew exactly what she was talking about, so polite friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

Food was beautiful cooked to perfection, waitress was lovely and very helpful offered to help when we was choosing to begin with always checking on us. Very professional and polite couldn’t have asked for better service. Unfortunately when the young girl came out with our main course we asked for mayo but this didn’t come. I thought the tables were arranged very close the table next to us complained, it became a bit awkward with the manager having to come over and sort the situation out, luckily enough we was just finishing our deserts and hoping to pay the bill quickly. Other than that I would highly recommend going the price was really good we was expecting a high bill but we thought it was very reasonable for the quality of the food. Thank you for a lovely night.

Steak was fine but we had two attempts with the Calamari starter. The first offering had been cooked in dirty oil and therefore the batter was dark and the delicate taste was lost. Strangely, the Calamari was in the form of "nuggets" rather than rings.

When I complained they simply replaced with an identically poor replacement! I challenged a senior member of staff to try some....He wouldn't and was adamant the cooking oil was, "new". I was eating with 3 others, 2 of which were senior food technologists who found his assurances implausible! To be fair they didn't charge for the dish.

Also, we had to ask for condiments rather than them being offered. Bizarrely the vinegar arrived in the manufacturer's screw top bottle and had been in a fridge! Ok for the local chippy but not a restaurant, and no idea why it needed to be so cold!

Nice venue- que at the bar the guy was serving some one after he was done he said if you go to other end of bar you will get served quicker. Fair enough but for that person to then serve us straight after telling us felt a little funny tbf. He also thought he was a bit up him self or may be thought we shouldn't of been there as he was a little funny and a bit reserved. Oh well hes only a bar man. starters - very nice one person did have the scallops thinking she had 3 when really was one wholl one and then 2 in half was a little cheeky. Mains think most had the steak apart from me had the boneless beef rib. Steaks were very nice. Mine well was very fatty indeed ide deff avoid that next time. Puddings every one enjoyed theres but the Lemon & clotted cream posset was just not living up to standard it tasted like a cheap version with no kick in it. When you have a lemon desert at a very nice place you expect it to have some kick in it this just was basic and bland. When i informed the lady lucy think it was that the beef rib was so fatty she just laughed i thought thanks not very professional. Would we go again deffo will be indeed. I also dont no why miller & carter do not publish there prices i think they are fair the quality of the food. Just not the fatty beef rib and the lemon desert.

My husband brought me for an Anniversary meal last night.

The atmosphere, decor and staff all lovely but when my steak arrived it was nearly rare. I hate the sight of blood on steak and waitress kindly offered to correct it however when another steak was sent out it too was full of blood.

We were told that their steaks were more rare than anywhere we might of been before so to ask for well done if we returned.

My husband was a chef for 30 years was very disappointed.

Interesting visit today - really like how the place is set out, giving excellent first impression- however it appears that we might have visited on a poor day!

After ordering mains, server came back to say that pak Choi was not available as described to accompany the salmon - mixed veg served instead (sadly too much was served quite undercooked!). 2 other mains were to include beetroot couscous- this was not served with the chicken salad and had to be asked for (server did bring the missing food within minutes).



To round off the (disappointing) meal, a filter coffee was requested (ie the first listed coffee in a good selection) - sorry - not available “ as we don’t do filter coffee - an Americana is similar!”



Teething issues with a new business? One would hope so as a repeat would be very disappointing!

4/7/18 - First impression of the place was good but soon downhill when I was given a particularly dirty menu that i had to wipe clean. Drinks & water took ages to arrive & did so only after prompting (we saw others chasing their drinks too despite it not being busy). Starters not good at all - the Duck rillette??! Scallops with rock hard tempura samphire was not up to scratch. On the positive - the steak was cooked as requested & tasted very nice. All in all a disappointing meal for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Perhaps we picked them on a bad night as other friends have had good experiences.

Went tonight for our second visit with My husband and 2 kids.



We got there at 5:45 ordered drinks straight away - it wasn’t overly busy maybe 3 or 4 other tables seated - half an hour later we had to find staff member to order food - at 6:45 after chasing the staff our children’s main meals came out and our starters. One of our children had ordered fish and chips and wanted tomato ketchup which we again had to chase a staff member for as it wasn’t offered. We also asked for a tea spoon for her peas as she’s only 4 but they couldn’t find one so gave her a large dessert spoon.



We then waited and waited for our mains, when they cleared our plates the waitress said our mains were nearly ready then at 7:45 we left after being told our mains were still at least 5/10 minutes away from being served!!! We only ordered a burger and ribs and had been there 2 hours and only had our starters.



So disappointing and kids were beside themselves with boredom and tiredness.



We were still charged for our drinks and kids meals and then had to go to Burger King to get some food for my husband and I. The manager said if we go back again he’d sort us out some compensation but I guarantee we won’t be back �



Trying to explain to your kids why all the tables around you are getting their food but you aren’t isnt a good night out
