We were walk-ins on Monday lunchtime, expecting the place to be quiet but it was very busy (graduation week). We were expertly dealt with by Taz, who explained there might be a wait, and was extremely attentive given how busy it was.



Food was great, service was brilliant.

We were here yesterday afternoon for a family meal birthday treat, food was cooked to perfection and the service couldn't be faulted, Tina was very lovely as usual, we all really enjoyed it.

Myself and my husband came to celebrate our wedding anniversary yesterday and it was wonderful, the team were really friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend it. Thank you to everyone who made our day special.

My 21st wedding anniversary meal with my husband this week. Great service, lovely food and the perfect end was a surprise desert which said happy anniversary on the plate. �

Miller and carter has to be the best steak restaurant in Manchester my sixth visit and never been disappointed nothing to much trouble staff are so friendly and helpful and food all served hot and fresh

I have to say l loved my recent to visit to Miller & Carter. I need to give a special thanks to Paulina (think that was her name) and her excellent customer service she’s an asset to the company and clearly dedicated about what she’s does... hopefully you’ll have a reward and recognition scheme in place to reward staff for such great work.

Had a lovely meal food was delicious, service with a smile and the extra touch of bring my partner a dessert cake over for his birthday with happy birthday on. Overall a great evening.

Food is always excellent here. We had calamari to start with then my son had the burger and I had the chicken. Both were fab and great value for money. The service is always really good and very friendly. We’ll be back soon.

Every time we come the staff are brilliant. So accommodating & cannot do enough for you.

Yesterday was a very special day for my parents, your staff recognised this & made it even more special for us. So attentive & beautifully polite.

Amazing experience! Meat was simply a dream. So soft and juicy, all my compliments to the brigade in the kitchen. The waiter has good manner, knows the menu as a prayer and (the long curly hair's girl) she is lovely over imagination. I will come back one day. Thank you all for making 'my first' time a very unforgettable one. :)

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the staff can't do enough for you. We come to Manchester at least once a month and we always come here.

The foods was excellent, both steaks (ribeye and sirloin) were cooked to perfection and the side orders were tasty, but we were unsure about the lettuce bowl which came before the meal with no explanation. Desserts were very well presented, and the service could not be faulted.



My only problem was that we had pre-booked a table for two at 17:30 well in advance and we were seated next to the disabled toilet and stairs, which meant we were disturbed nearly the whole meal.



It is an expensive treat. We would go again, but insist on a better table.

In a group of four dining, I had the sharing starter which had meatballs, pasta garlic toast and iceberg lettuce topped with Nachos and dips. Lovely change from the usual starters on offer elsewhere. For main dish I selected the fillet steak and it was cooked absolutely spot on medium. Only down side was my wife ordered ribs and unfortunately they were only warm, the dish was placed as quickly as possible and apologies from the manager were made.

The service was excellent, and I felt a lovely relaxing ambiance with space between tables.

My wife’s meal was knocked off the bill which was commendable as I hadn’t suggested a reduction.

I will definitely return as this wasn’t my first visit and won’t be my last. Apart from my wife’s dish, would give 5 stars.

Booked table on line and Came yesterday for husbands birthday ...his first experience at miller n Carter and we’re dissapointed to be sat outside the disabled toilet n stairs where it was so busy with folk up and down

I would have thought with 4 weeks notice a better table by the window would have been nicer

The food was lovely and the service good and I did voice my opinion at the time

The younger generation may have been ok with it but we’re in our sixties 🤔

We also traveled from york 😜

We came on Saturday to give you another chance after having a bad experience at Miller & Carter in Liverpool and yet again it was not good, my steak and chips were cold and I mean cold, my daughters steak was cooked wrong and my partners chips were also cold, I sent my food back which then meant I was sat with nothing whilst the rest of my family ate and by the time I got mine back they were nearly finished, I really wanted it to be a good meal and just put our last visit down to bad luck but it was not the case, I work within the hospitality sector and have to say I can’t recommend any of my clients to you. �

Such a bad experience...

Rubbish atmosphere. Rubbish chateubriand.

Tried here for a change and regret every second.

Never sent steak back before but the cut of meat was horrible; asked for medium rare which should melt in the mouth. Chewy and tasted of sinue.

Staff accommodated the feedback well but the replacement was as bad.

Ive give it 1 and this review as i ate here not long ago and it was awful its a shame really as ive eaten here numerous times and its been nice but this time steak was over cooked served meals at diffrent times so all eat at diffrrnt times the worse bit is i emailed them leaving feed back expecting a response and got nothing back dont think i will be returning unless its for a free meal and appologie shame was going to have my birthday celebrations here aswel �

The woman at the front desk is one of the most rude people i have ever come across and its the second time shes treated us so badly! We were left stood in by the desk for 7minutes while she did something behind the bar. No eye contact, no I'll be with you in a minute, nothing! When i finally asked if anyone was looking after the front, the attitude in her face! But she still ignored us while a waitress asked us if we had booked. Turns out there were no tables so we left but I'll never go back again. Someone please send that woman on a customer service course!
