Excellent room with balcony. Clean and warm after a lake land ramble. Lovely breakfast with great host.

The outside was lovely, as I broke down outside the guest house.

Lovely views, friendly staff, nice clean rooms with comfortable beds and linen, very relaxing stream outside.

Stayed 26th July for one night and must say it's an Absolute gem of a place, Lovely room and great breakfast. Hope I am lucky enough to work this way once more and stay again.I do not usually right reviews but had to in this instance.

Stayed for two nights while in the area. Had a great stay, nice room, great views of the area, great breakfast, friendly hosts, easy to find and parking is a doddle.

Ee didnt like it the place smealt it was clean but the doors and frame work look a dirty yellow and the owner Paul was a obnoxious man we booked and cancelled when we arrived as it wasnt what we thought. Parking is tight right next to a main road and away from all other amenities. We apologised and said it wasnt for us we had arrived 15 minutes after booking and he still charged us for a 1 day was very obnoxious and it was our honeymoon but he didnt give a dam just wanted his money spoilt our day until we got to a decent hotel in windermere.

Just had a two night stay at Millers Beck. Excellent breakfast, good facilities and helpful hosts. Thanks for a great stay, I will definitely return.

I paid for this guest house for a sub contractor of mine, unfortunately his shift rang on late and he tried to check in slightly after nine, and was met by being ignored on the landlines and when he rang the emergency number. he was met with hurls of abusive language by an atrocious person! He has travelled all over the world and has never run into that sort of disrespect!
