We’ve had a very busy start to the year. 2 new members of staff have joined us but we have also waved goodbye to Luke, after 5 years with us he is returning to Herefordshire to set up his own business. We wish him a very happy and successful future! Good Luck @lukemammatt

he girls at work booked me the meerkat experience for my 40th Birthday and I loved it! Such a lovely little place. Huge variety of birds and I have already recommended to several people. The Meerkat experience was better than I expected - I didn't think we would get so close to them. They climbed all over us and were super cute! really great place! Racoons were a massive bonus as they are one of my favourite animals. Cant believe how close you get to all the animals. Great staff and will be taking my niece and nephew!

What a wonderful place. Had the VIP falconry experience, absolutely amazing. Luke and Alex made me feel welcome and I was able to handle a good variety of birds, even got to hold their eagle Bella-Grace very heavy but well worth it. Will definitely go back even if it’s to just see their newest owl Boudicca xxxxx

Took my godson for an Owl experience last night and we both loved it. The staff were very knowledgeable about all the owls and clearly passionate about what they do. Really enjoyed seeing the display of owls flying at night. Would definately recommend it, just remember to wrap up warm.

I would highly recommend this place for all to visit whilst at Millets Farm, their knowledge and passion for the birds makes the visit all the more enjoyable. I was given the experience as a gift for my birthday and would highly recommend it. Thanks again!

My wife and I had a falconry experience today. We handled falcons and flew a kestrel and an ashy faced barn owl. The recently graduated apprentice was really friendly and professional, with great knowledge and an easy going manner. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. John and Suzy.

My ten-year-old son did the Junior Zoo keeper experience this morning and absolutely loved it. Really hands on, loads of fascinating information and a chance to get up close to some wonderful animals. Thank you!

My son Tom had an awesome day as his zoo keeper experience. He learned a lot and loved being so close to the animals and the birds. Alex was great with him all morning, very knowledgeable and keen to impart his information. Apart from being freezing cold, both me and Tom had a great morning. We will certainly be back in the future.

My fiancé booked me a hawk hunting experience day and from the word go the staff were fantastic, highly knowledgeable on the subject and made the day even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Was a pleasure to see these fantastic creatures doing what they do best up close and personal.

Just home from a fab visit to the Falconry centre, a present for my mum's birthday. We did the advance booking experience which bought us entry fee, a leisurely walk at our own pace, a flight display and an hour of handling some of the stunning birds and a guided walk to talk about the birds in more detail. Very knowledgeable staff, awesome experience. Will go back for more!!!

Just back from a fabulous photography day at Millets Farm Falconry Center - everyone is really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and we were given every opportunity to take both static and in-flight photos of the birds - would certainly recommend to anyone looking to practice their wildlife photography.

I've always seen this place at the back of the play area in millets and shrugged it off thinking it was too expensive... how wrong was I! Me and my daughter went yesterday and again today and have now purchased an annual membership! The flight demonstrations are my favourite and hers are the raccoons and meerkats. Just wish she was able to do a hands on experience before 8 years of age. �

I went with the family today for the Meerkat encounter, it was amazing and the children loved it. All the birds there are stunning, and well cared for, the owners work hard to give a great show. I'll be going back for sure.

I took my fiance and our 14 month old son here for father's day! it was awesome!! the staff were extremely friendly and loved talking to us about the birds! the birds and other animals were amazing!! my son's face beamed when he saw the big bird savannah and the owls, not to mention the meerkats (he woukd have took one home if he could) was also lovely to see the baby owls! highly recommend this place and we will be back as we want to see the flying display.

I returned to Milletts Farm Falconry Center today after having to abandon my Meerkat feeding experience two weeks prior due to rain .... Meerkats hate rain ��.



It was a birthday present from my other half and I was bitterly dissapointed. However, Milletts Falconry Center were fantastic and were quick to offer to rebook the session. My other half did this, at no extra cost and we returned today. I was very lucky that the other participants didn't turn up so I had the Meerkats all to myself. The young man that took me into the enclosure was very well informed and was great at educating about the Meerkats �.



Alongside this we saw a fabulous flight display and saw all the other fantastic animals that are kept here and cared for incredibly well. Cannot recommend this fantastic center anymore, well worth a visit!

I recevied a red letter day choice voucher as a present for my birthday. I chose to do the meerkat experience at millets with my partner. We enjoyed it so much and were really surprised at how friendly they were. Alex was really knowledgeable and you could tell he loved them. We loved that we could look around at all the birds and really liked watchung the falconary flight. We was the baby volcher flight which we have never seen before. Overall was a great couple of hours spent. �

For someone scared of birds, I wanted to push myself and opted for a half day Falconer Experience day with my partner for my birthday. Wow! Loved every second of it! Luke the Falconer was extremely experienced, friendly and encouraged us to ask plenty of questions. He made me feel at ease straight away and didn't push me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. The experience lasted three hours and was a mixture of walking around and finding out about the various birds of prey, handling of the birds including falcons, owls and kestrels and hands on experience at flying them. At the end we got to handle one of the big beasts (Tawny Eagle) which was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this and we will both be coming again for another experience. Thanks to James and Luke

Fab afternoon last Saturday. Really informative. Learned the truth about owls after 50+ years of actually being in the dark haha you had to be there to understand that one. Luke (hope got right name - fair slicked back hair, lovely guy, reminded me of that Packham guy) he was awesome, entertaining, fabulously knowledgable and good to listen too. Never a dull moment with him re falconry, kestrels, had a soft spot for the ugly but endearing Turkey vulture, hawks too and you actually got to hold them. The cutest was the little owl that looked like a chip off the old block, there I go again, rubbish puns - no literally looked like a piece of wood with big beautiful eyes and it’s head turned 90 degrees inquisitively. Want one �. Oh and archery and ferret racing too. Something different. Try it. You’ll love it �. Thanks to the team �. Deb and fam x

Came here yesterday for a falconry experience for two. Got to see one of the flying displays first. It was great to watch and the falconer was so wonderful with the birds.

The experience itself was brilliant. We even got to fly three of the birds.

Booked myself and my other half in for the meerkat experience for my other half's birthday. was brilliant!!! Alex was very good and had buckets of knowledge about the meerkats! Was brilliant value as well. £40 for two people for half an hour with these little guys! Although sitting in with meerkats is normally a once in a lifetime thing, I would love to come back and do it again!
