Welcome to the Millhouse; a tranquil haven on the banks of the River Great Ouse in Sharnbrook. Our unique countryside location allows plenty of space for you to relax and enjoy the wonderful food and the peaceful surroundings.

We are an independently owned village hotel and restaurant based on the outskirts of Sharnbrook in Bedfordshire. Our facilities include 9 ensuite bedrooms with all the modern amenities, and a choice of conservatories for dining, over looking the beautiful Mill Pond and countryside beyond. We also have a large permanent functions marquee with private bar that can be used throughout the seasons. The entire restaurant and function complex including one of our hotel rooms are completely wheelchair friendly.
We are a small hardworking team at the Millhouse. Full time staff members include, Karl the proprietor who is here everyday overseeing the running of the business, with help from the general managers Lauren and Ryan. Plus Jacqie is our trusty housekeeper servicing rooms for 11 years and counting.
All our food is as locally sourced and as seasonal as possible, ensuring freshness and quality, and all is cooked to order to achieve perfection, by our Head Chef Ryan Larkins with help from talented chef Michael Johnstone.
