About Million Dollar Quartet Uk

Following success in the West End, Las Vegas and on Broadway, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is touring the UK!

Million Dollar Quartet Uk Description

This worldwide smash-hit musical is inspired by the famous recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.

On December 4, 1956, these four star musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, written by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, brings that legendary night to life, featuring an incredible score of over 20 rock’n’roll hits including Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, That’s All Right, Sixteen Tons, Great Balls of Fire, Walk the Line, Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Who Do You Love?, Matchbox, Folsom Prison Blues, Hound Dog and many more.

Don’t miss your chance to discover the true story of one unforgettable night that made rock’n’roll history!

Wow! What can I say... Absolutely blown away by Saturday nights performance! A life long Jason fan who didn't fail to disappoint....but what amazing performances by the rest of the cast! I really felt like I was transported back in time! I had goose bumps when the picture was taken at the end and then the original photo was displayed. Feel very privileged to have watched this! Well done all!

User

Wow! What a fabulous show in Malvern tonight. The cast were all fabulous - great musicians and high energy. Don't miss out on seeing this amazing show - get yourself a ticket! Loved Martin Kaye as Jerry Lee Lewis, however each and every person on the stage was excellent and I couldn't stop my feet from moving! Great to see the whole audience on their feet dancing at the end! Didn't want it to end and could have listened to more.

User

Wow! Was not expecting such a fantastic show! Took my elderly mum along for an afternoon show, by the end she (and everyone else) was on her feet singing and dancing. Extremely talented cast. Definitely a personal life memory for me with my mum. Thanks to all for taking the show to Inverness, absolutely brilliant! X

User

User

What an amazing uplifting show at Leeds tonight with fantastic musicians. Where would our pop music be today without the vision and enthusiasm of Sam Phillips? Thank you to all involved for a great evening.

User

This is one of the best musical shows I have ever seen! I love each member of the quartet but to bring them together and light up the stage like that..... It's just like recreating that epic night and I enjoyed it immensely! May even go back for seconds ;) x

User

Such an incredible show with some of the best musicians I have ever seen. A show not to be missed performed by the most gorgeous and delightful group. Go, go, go!! Wish I could follow it around the country and watch it over and over.

OMG, saw this in Southampton last night and it's amazing, brilliant performance from all the cast, both my hubby and I both said it's a show we would love to see again, the acting and singing was absolutely superb, would definitely recommend to go and see it , all the best to the whole cast, thank you for a brilliant show....

User

Just saw the matinee performance today at York Theatre Royal. Brilliant show not to be missed. All the performers were fantastic, epecially Jerry Lee Lewis. Thanks to all involved for a rockin' good afternoon.

If you only see one show this year, make it Million Dollar Quartet, We have seen some shows, but this one, is the best one by far, the storyline of how the star's first got their big break with Sun records, and how they were all bought together on that one night is brilliant, and with the songs blended in, rather than being done seperatly like a concert is fantastic, all the musical instruments, and singing is all live, which adds to the atmosphere, you are instantly hooked from start to finish, and the last song where they get you on your feet, had the whole audience on their feet, clapping, dancing, and singing along to the song, and it left the audience screaming for more, the acting, singing, and dancing by the cast, were fantastic, they really did sound, act, and sing and play instruments, just like the real stars, this show is a must see, such a buzz, we went to see it at The Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, absolutely fantastic, by far the best show we have ever seen, and a must see show, you won't regret it.

User

I've seen many musical and shows all over the UK and this was undoubtedly the best of the best. I was in a group of 8 last night 13/5/17 in Llandudno. The place was rockin' the acting , the musicians were outstanding. Everyone of the cast was superb. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends. Well done to everyone involved in this brilliant show.

User

I saw this at the Royal Festival Hall and I cannot believe the talent in this show! I was shocked that the music was also played live by the actors. Million Dollar Quartet captures the story perfectly and all characters are portrayed with beautiful energy.

User

Have just seen the matinee performance in Belfast and can't think of another word than 'WOW'! I was completely bliwn away. Each and every performer was in a class of their own and have to say this is one of the best shows I've been too. Well done to everyone involved; if you are to see one show this year this should be it.

User

Fantastic show. What great musicians. Jerry Lee Lewis was outstanding. Jason Donovan superb. Got the audience enthralled and practically everyone on their feet, singing and dancing at the end - quite an achievement considering they were mostly senior citizens and it was 4.30 in the afternoon! Thank to the cast and crew for a great, fun afternoon xx

User

Cardiff Rocked. Took my parents along and it was the best show we have seen. Such amazing talent. Thank you for such a lovely day.

User

Came to the show in Inverness last night, and it was outstanding. Absolutely amazing musicians, everyone was off their seats by the end! It felt very authentic and told a great story. 5 stars!

User

Absolutely outstanding! All of the cast were exceptional! Loved getting picked to hip thrust with Jerry too;) Martin Kaye was the stand out for me:) Loved his character. The singing and music were amazing and the cast were very gracious to stop for pictures and a chat afterwards! Would definitely go again!
