Did you know today Norman Nicholson would have been 106 years old. We have a room designated to him the museum, featuring pictures, poems and work done by local school children.

and just like that Christmas is over and from 10.30am this morning we are back open! Through out January the museum is open Monday to Friday (10.30am - 3.30pm)

The museum is closing from Friday 20th at 3.00pm and will be back open on Monday 6th January at 10.30am
Ticket Office will still be open as usual Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year

Santa arrived this morning to collect your letters and stayed for a few pics with the little uns 😍

Looking back on the last 12 months and reading through the visitor book, our most popular section of the museum this year has got to be our RAF rooms. Between the 2 rooms there's over pictures on display. The rooms really are full - although keep an eye out next year as we will be adding it!
Between the rooms John Nixon has managed to get one of our bigger artefacts - a wing tip (Still not sure how he managed to get it in and displayed so well 🤔)
