Every year our sling library runs a summer and Christmas fete. We showcase local crafters and hopefully give the community a fun family day out. This is one of our stall holders this year. The amazing MacramadebyEma and I just had to share her here. It’s a local event but Ema has already sent her work far and wide. You should definitely have a look at her beautiful works of art!

Last few pre mades for the market 👍🏼♥️

Hi. I thought I would do a re introduction as its been a while and lots has changed.
I'm still Melinda. Still mum to twins Henry and Matilda (age 2 and a quarter at time of writing - now nearly 4!!!!). I started carrying them when they were about 4 weeks old and have been on an amazing slingy journey since, one that still continues to this day!
... Currently I co run Salford Sling & Meet with the lovely Hayley, Sam and Lucy. I have peer support training from Born to Carry and School of Babywearing and have done consultancy training with both Slingababy and JPMBB.
Along with my fellow librarians we offer a weekly Sling library and social that has embedded us firmly in our local community. We also offer workshops and one to one consultations.
The small community we have created and the larger world wide one I have become a part of means everything to me. The friendships I have made spread around the world and I am thankful every day for the people I have met by carrying my children in these cloths.
I have also recently started producing wrap scrap keepsakes. These are screen printed line drawings, cut and backed with wrap scraps. You can check out the products and prices by clicking on this link :)

Thank you very much for today's session Mel! You made the session very informative and friendly at the same time. You were extremely patient with me. I learnt so much from the session and the videos that you sent over are a brilliant reminder of how to put all of the methods into practice!

Thank you for an excellent one to one consultation, and advice on the best sling for me and my youngest.

Mel was so kind and patient with me and has been on my whole baby wearing journey. She understood how nervous I was and adapted things to make them work for me if I wasn't comfortable. I would definitely have another consultation and recommend to others.

I've been wrapping my little boy for nearly two years now, but my back wrapping skills lack in confidence. I needed a consultancy that understood what I was looking for and Mel delivered just that and more. I have a heavy toddler that needs wrapping quickly and succinctly, Mel gave me so many tips and tricks all whilst keeping him safe and really left me with a greater knowledge of the wrap, the type of carry and the finish. She was very patient and articulate, I felt very at ease and I wish her continued success on her journey. It was the best consultancy I have been too.

I did Melinda's fancy Finish workshop and it was amazing. I learned so much. Mel is a fantastic teacher, she explains everything very well and provided me with lots of new skills and ideas.

Absolutely wonderful! I have 10 month old twins and wanted to have a look at the Twingo.
