Milly'S Massage & Yoga Description

Camilla "Milly" Harding is a graduate of the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Trainer's Course (300 hours TTC in 2013) and has over 10 years experience of practising yoga. She is also an accredited Swedish Massage Therapist (VTCT) and specialises in body based holistic healing to suit your individual needs. She has experience with teaching and working with clients from a variety of backgrounds but especially: long term / chronic conditions and Queer & Trans* clients.

I teach personalised Hatha classes to suit your needs. Hatha yoga is gentle and calming, focussing on the importance of the breath and holding postures for extended periods of time. It is a very restorative, calming style - great if you are new to yoga, want to de-stress or just want a nurturing form of exercise for your mind, body and soul.

I offer yoga classes starting at Β£15. I can combine a mixture of meditation, relaxation, asana postures and will bring everything with me (from incense to yoga mats) to your choice of location (home, place of work or even outside public place). Extra's such as a gentle savasana mini-massage and weekly training plans can be discussed and are available on request.

Massage therapy starts at Β£40 for 30 minutes and will take place at The Yoga Place (449-453 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 9QH). I can also travel to you on request.

A big game changer for me was realising that meditation needn't be done in a set way, at the same time and place on the same thing. Meditation can fit into your day, instead of you having to change your schedule to fit it in. You can meditate whilst drinking your daily cuppa, on your way to work, for 5 mins in bed every morning/ night. My fave meditation is whilst I'm running a bath - sitting in the empty tub whilst the water fills and swirls around my body: focussing on th...e changes in temperature, sensation, breath and thought. And then repeating this whilst the bath water is draining out. I've found this super helpful especially if you're hyper sensitive to temperature changes/ your body has trouble regulating its temperature - it's less of a harsh shock coming in/ out of hot water/ a cold bathroom! Meditation isn't about clearing your mind. It's about re-focussing and taking in a different/ bigger picture. What are some of your favourite meditations? πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™
