The one and only Jeremy Corbyn. Three years on and still standing up for the many. #jc4pm Please share.
Cabinet Member for Children and Families, Zoe Nolan said: "This is a great way to bring more housing into use by enabling newly qualified teachers to use these flats. I hope it will encourage more teachers who are starting off their new careers to choose to live and work in Milton Keynes."

Come along and hear of Jeremy Corbyn’s former senior advisors talk about lessons learned from the last general election campaign.
In the most dramatic election of modern times, Corbyn’s inspirational campaign transformed British politics. Labour won its best vote for twenty years and the largest increase in its vote share since 1945. Far from winning a landslide, the Tories were left without a majority and forced to abandon many of their unpopular plans.
Steve Howell was at t...he centre of Corbyn’s election machine. A member of the Labour leader’s strategy group, he was involved in all the key campaign decisions. From the outset, he believed that Corbyn’s campaigning skills, enthusiastic army of supporters and hopeful message could produce a surge in support. In Game Changer, he tells the story of eight weeks that transformed British politics.
Steve will talk to members on Thursday, October 4, at 7.30pm, Wolverton Working Men’s Social Club. We would love to see you there. He will have copies of his book with him for you to buy, if you like.

Red Plaque memorials scheme remembering the fallen heroes of our fire service and supporting their bereaved families. Labour’s manifesto promises to recruit at least 3,000 new frontline firefighters, give fire services in England a statutory duty to tackle flooding and guarantee that Police and Crime Commissioners will not be given control over fire services.
Education is not a cost, it is an investment. An investment in our children's futures and in our country's prosperity. This Tory government is failing.
Since the Tories came to power national rail fares are up by 32%. The Tories are failing to stand up for millions of passengers. Hannah O'Neill met commuters at Bletchley to share Labour's vision - our railways brought back into public ownership.
Our team led by Charlynne Pullen at CMK station this morning talking with commuters as part of our campaign day on the railways. Labour would bring our railways into public ownership, this would mean:
- Capped fares - Better, more reliable services - Investment in our railways
"When she said she was proud of what 'the British government had done', did she mean when members of her party called for Nelson Mandela to be hanged? When Margaret Thatcher called him a terrorist? Or perhaps when David Cameron had a trip paid for by an anti-sanctions lobbying firm?"

Theresa May's car crash interview in South Africa today. Margaret Thatcher opposed sanctions and branded Mandela a terrorist just months before he was released from jail.
Theresa May joins in with some dancing on her visit to South Africa. She's said a no-deal Brexit "wouldn't be the end of the world".
TGI Fridays staff in Milton Keynes joined workers from across London in strike action this bank holiday weekend, following a long-running dispute over policy changes that have seen staff lose up to £250 a month.

Video from today's picket at MK Stadium TGI Fridays UK. We support the workers at TGI Fridays as they strike for fair pay and fair tips. Inspiring campaign from these young workers #AllEyesOnTGIs
Big shout out to TGI Fridays workers on strike in Milton Keynes today. Rain, hail and thunder could not stop them! Tell TGI Fridays UK to pay their staff fairly. Workers go on strike again tomorrow 12-2 at the Stadium MK branch. #AllEyesOnTGIs Unite the union
We support the workers taking strike action at TGI Fridays this Friday 24th from 6-8pm and Saturday 25th 12-2pm. While minimum-waged waiting staff are left £250 a month worse off, the CEO of TGI Fridays has been awarded a pay boost of £105,420. #AllEyesOnTGIs #NeverCrossAPicketLine
Last weekend Milton Keynes Labour Party ran a summer school empowering members and supporters with new skills, networks and training. Huda Elmi spoke to us about connecting communities.
Milton Keynes has two Conservative MPs. Help get Labour voices elected to Westminster so we can work towards a decent society for everyone. Tories have wasted nearly £200million on denying desperately needed support for the sick and disabled.

There is only one choice if we want to have a fairer society that cares for all of its citizens not just those that can afford to take care of themselves. #votelabour
The social media presence is strong with labour. Keep it up!
The party to vote for. Vote Labour!!
Vote Labour!! Vote Labour!! ⚘
So close to winning both MK seats. Well done on running a strong campaign 😊 Keep up the good work and we'll get there!
Say what you like about the labour party nationally, but since the tories have had their influence over MK roadways, redways, transport and our basic infrastructure has been decaying and its showing more now then ever. I think its time for a more active party, and a red MK 🖒
Really polite and helpful local councillors and quick response from local Labour Candidate about a personal problem I needed help with! Thank you!
People of passion and morals looking out for those who have no voice
Nice to see decent candidates to have a choice rather than Mr Stewart or Mr Lancaster.
For the many not the few! The only hope we have for a brighter future
Absolutely fantastic group of dedicated people fighting for local causes and local residents. MK truly deserves better than the Tories.
A great party - people who care deeply about social justice for everyone on MK. Good to see the manifesto priorities for housing and health and well being. Keep up the good work.
A great page for the many, not the few
its all talk and no action i will still be taking up a 3 bed council house as there are no bungalows . and people will sill be ripped of with bedroom tax because they can t down size people will still have to go on pay back working tax credit its a case of the rich getting richer and the poor starving . pay taxes over working of not getting a job because the eastern Europeans have them and the homeless living on the streets because of the council wasting our money and i will end up falling down on the footpath out side my house because the council won t fix it
delusional twaddle from a delusional cult that is two moves away from being the Khmer Rouge
You are running our once beautiful city into the ground. Roads are not being maintained, gutters are overgrown with weeds and grass, which causes flooding and are a eyesore to prospective new businesses and residents.
Useless. They left our Country in a mess and strive to undo what has been done to turn us in to a socialist utopia.
Shameful behaviour from Peter Marland and Co. For allowing the go head for historical parts of Wolverton Works to be demolished. Many groups have expressed dismay at these actions. But shamefully it's fallen on deaf ears, especially Labour leader for Milton Keynes, borough, town councilor for Wolverton Peter Marland.
Please stop putting your propaganda through my door, one is enough to get your message (which is all I had from the conservatives) but posting the same leaflet 4 times in 1 week should be classed as littering! Because of this I voted Conservatives!
I was a Labour voter all my voting Life until Yesterday 1. They do not work for the people but for their own gains 2. This council built only 320 houses in Milton Keynes in 2014 for sale not for rent. 3. 15 years ago I was told I had to wait 5 years for a council house 5 years came and went and was told the same. I waited when I got Married 6 years ago I was told because I was in Private accommodation I wouldn't get a house but if I ever lost my job I would get help with housing benefit. I lost my job 2 weeks ago no fault of my own and when I went to council I have to wait till the 4th of June to be seen only because a conservative councilor emailed head of office but still might not get help I aint entitled to housing benefit so at risk of being made homeless and still no help from the council. I contacted mk asking for a Councillor in labour and was basically told no but we want your vote. well they didn't get it.
