Hailed as 'the theatrical event of 2018', the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I is embarking on a World Tour direct from its record breaking sold out season at The London Palladium.
Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an im...perialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.
A celebration of the lavish heritage of the very best in romantic musical theatre from an unparalleled multi-award-winning creative team, hailed as one of the best working in theatre today, directed by Tony Award winner Bart Sher (South Pacific & My Fair Lady - Broadway). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness this glorious production, as you have never seen it before.

User

we’ve been welcomed into this theatre and helped without any judgement or difficulty at all. My Mrs has Crohn’s disease and she is flaring up bad and we had pre booked seats but on the off chance we asked if we could change seats to help her and the staff were very helpful and helped immediately. They gave us the box which was perfect for her. It’s calmed her down and she’s now been able to enjoy her birthday present. Now at the interval stage and the show is also amazing. Thank you

User

we had no clue where to go at the start and one of the people that work there was super friendly and gave us directions to our seats! no issues at all, thankyou! 🎭

Went to see fast love tribute and what an amazing show. Being a huge grorge micheal fan and booked my tickets 4 months prior there was no way on earth I was going to miss one seconed off the show. Living with chronic pain I felt my pain levels creeping up and buy the end of the show I could not even stand up. A friend got me help from the staff and I can honestly say they was amazing. They stayed with me right upto my taxi arriveing and even helped me into the taxi. I have been to the theatre many times and never needed assistance before now. The show was amazing the staff I could not find one fault. Thank you to all the staff who helped me after the fast love show. 12 hours later I am still buzzing considering im still haveing a huge flare up. ♡♡

Went to see The curious Incident of the dog in the night time last night. One of the most remarkable and original pieces of theatre I've ever seen. If you loved the book you'll love this. The playwright, director, and designer have been totally faithful to the feel of the book. The actors, the set, lighting, sound, and choreography, came together to produce something very special and unique.-- Loved it!

User

Went to see Cinderella with my daughter. Was an excellent way to see in the New Year, full of laughs and suitable for all the family. The sets, costumes and cast were fantastic.

We also ate in the Bistro, taking the 2 course for £12:95 offer which was offered at time of booking. The food was of a high standard and well presented. A great treat!

User

Went to see Cinderella tonight with our local Cub group, 1st Bletchley, and the show was outstanding. Full of colour, fun, singing, dancing and gags old and new. Brian Conley as Buttons and Gok Wan as The Fairy Gok Mother are just hilarious together. A brilliant night had by all. X

User

The Curious Incident of the dog in the night was an excellent show. I was blown away with the technical stuff awesome, artistic and completely in sync with the acting. I was so impressed with the characterisation and use of props. It was an emotional rollercoaster but a fantastic journey. I would see the show again in a heart beat.

User

Myself and my husband came to watch this - a gift from our daughters. Lovely theatre very spacious. Absolutely fantastic show thoroughly enjoyed it - great singing. Definitely recommend it .

User

Me and my daughter attended lastnight to watch Matilda and the staff there were great. They went out of their way to accommodate us

User

Matilda was a stunning performance. The lead was brilliant, for a child to hold an audience in the palm of her hand is something I've only seen an adult do. Well done to all and well done Tim Minchin . I will be looking at booking London

User

Just got home from seeing Cinderella. Wow what a show. I have never laugh so much in my life. Both Brian Conley and Gok Wan were fantastic and very very funny, it’s a partnership made in heaven. My youngest Dream came true when she saw Cinderella and the carriage. Thanks for a wonderful time.

User

I can’t thank the staff at the Theatre enough! They all went above and beyond for my 12 year old today - seeing Dan & Phil, getting a hug and a selfie made his year! Definitely worth the 4 hour round trip with the company of his Tourette’s on route!

Thank you again.

Anyone who is thinking of going this Theatre should 100% go! Best service, best staff! Thank you

User

Huge thankyou to both staff and management for their help and assistance yesterday when I took my grandchildren to see Shrek, the youngest at 2 1/2 had broken her leg and they couldn’t do enough to make not only her first visit to the theatre but all in our groups a very pleasant experience, everyone enjoyed the show, again thankyou so much

User

My sister took my mum and nephew to see the snowman last night which they enjoyed apart from my mum was getting kicked in the back by a 6 yrold .when she told the little girls mum the child's mum was very rude to my mum thought that it was.Im appalled that she spoke to my mum in such a rude and horrified that she thought a 6yrold should be allowed to kick people's chairs.I have a little girl of 3yrs and she is not allowed to behave differently badly. If your child cannot sit still than don't take her to the theatre .£40 to get kicked in the back my poor mum just had an operation.

Went to see beyond the barricade at Milton Keynes with my boyfriend for my birthday. During the entire first half the Speakers were not working. during the break we almost left as it was so bad. You would probably wonder why we didn’t complain there and then but obv the last thing you want to do is interrupt the show for everyone else sat in your row. So we decided to email a Complaint to the theatre.

I am so angry about the response we eventually got through the post claiming that ‘as the receiving house to a production’ Milton Keynes theatre take no responsibility.

We paid Milton Keynes theatre and not the production company. Surely the theatre have their own sound people who work alongside the production show.

Theatre shows are not a cheep night out and as someone who loves going to the theatre as often as I can afford I am so angry by the lack of ‘responsibility and apology shown by Milton Keynes.

The letter gives no option to reply by email so I thought social media would draw attention to all other hard working paying customers to know that once they have taken your hard earned cash your all on your own.

Thanks for ruining my birthday surprise and a show I had been looking forward to seeing for a long time.

P.s the speakers were sorted during the break and the second half was great so it’s obvious there was a problem.

User

People have become desensitised as to what is actually good quality theatre, probably because there is so much rubbish on at the West End now. This is a very good representation of poor theatre. Poor sound, poor annunciation, could hardly hear a word, as lead ate her words and tuneless uninspiring music. Hoorah for the Wonderful choreography and very talented children, but all in all a total disappointment and waste of £120 which was a lot of money to spend at MK Theatre for two people.

User

I took my children to see shrek, I booked the tickets a year ago to make sure they had no heads infront of them. I called in advance to make sure there were child booster seats....there are. On the day we take our seats 15 minutes before it starts....the theatre was half full by this point, they ran out of booster seats! My children had to watch the show standing and between laps for 2 hours because they couldn't see! They staff wasn't bothered. I felt embarrassed that it looked like I had fidgety kids but the just couldn't see and the chairs folded in on them which I wouldn't class as safe and a booster is required. I emailed to complain and demand a refund because I spent £235 Of a show we barely saw because I had children on my lap in the way or we were trying to occupy them because we didn't see. Customer service said no and hope I come back again . I'm disgusted and appalled you would have family shows and not provide suitable equipment for your audience. A cinema is 90% cheaper and can provide it. Not happy at all!!!!!!!!

User

Had a fab night at the fast love gig. Shame that the interval service made it not as enjoyable in the second half. Ordered some refreshments to be delivered to the seats at the interval and they never arrived.

After performance by now my throat is dry and sore from singing it was revealed that they did not bring them because they were too busy. What a poor lame excuse. Offered refund thank you and an apology but not a offer of a free drink for me and my partner.

Think you should not offer this service if u can not fulfil the contract.

User

Going against emergency services advice and telling families to just allow more time is a totally and horrific show of responsibility when it comes to a so called family oriented company!!

Not willing to budge on any cancellation / rearranging of dates or even part of a refund is a real show of your priorities!!

Shocking & shameful behaviour!!
